We received biometrics appointment for Feb 4th. Took a month ± 2 days since I sent the package. 
Still can't even find anything on USCIS website with a receipt number, says doesn't recognize the number

I sent out papers for my wife in the last days of December,
December 25th I think. I was delivered in two days, and on
January 2nd received email and txt msg that our case was accepted and they'll send us a letter within 7-10 days. Check was also cashed.
I called USCIS before, and just talked to them again because we haven't received that letter yet. It's been exactly three weeks now.
The guy I spoke with said he will send a request for an extension letter that we should receive in 30 days (used to be ~15 he said).
If we don't receive anything within that time, we should call back again to make an appointment to USCIS office to stamp the passport (for extension).
 
 
We still have plenty of time left till expiration, but hopefully we get that letter before green card expires.
 
Update: Forgot to mention, our case number does not work on the website, says it does not recognize the number entered. Was told that also may take up to 30+ days

I don't think USCIS cares who pays for the case as long as it's paid

I'd say since she's getting interviewed there's nothing to worry about. Obviously they did the background check, and, If there was something serious you most likely would have been notified loong time.

Don't do anything. Before I sent out our packet I checked it 10+ times and still didnt notice that I did the same for myself and my then-fiancee. USCIS just crossed it with red pen and put our names where they belonged. I didn't get RFE for that

I haven't and wouldn't waste money on them. Just follow the guide and when you have all the papers that are mentioned there come back and let "us" see the list of what you have. We all been there and done that, and I'm sure if your case is simple as you say you'll get best possible help here

I bought round trip back in August and saved close to $2k. POE - JFK.

I think lawyers / immigration office are unnecessary for K-1 visa. Why waste time and money on them? I did everything myself for us (me USC and now my wife) except birth certificate translation+notarization and two papers she signed.
This website has everything you need. Use guides, example forms and search. And sometimes go to USCIS website, though instructions over there are harder to understand

Did courthouse wedding on 23rd. It was easier than I thought it would be. Just make sure you bring all docs court requires. Good Luck
btw. they dont care if you have lots of witnesses or not (NJ requires 2 tho). I had my two sisters with me. And 1 sister when we went for license (NJ requires only 1)

как я написал выше, искать 2х2 не нужно. как только он вставит флешку в ихний комп пусть сразу выберет фото для паспорта (там фотография паспорта). или лучше сразу скажет персоналу что есть фотка на флешке и нужно отпринтовать для паспорта. ее наду будет загнать в одну форму а это пусть они сделают, они знают свою работу.

I've been reading here a lot and seems like it usually takes one week (what you've been told). But there are embassies that do it in just two days (one is Kazakhstan)

You received your Noa1 a month ago according to your timeline so you won't get any other answer than what you were given on Friday.
I suppose you could ask to speak to a tier 2 because they are the only ones being able to look closer at your case but it's only been a month..

The default is Armenia. You must pick something.

Armenia is the first country in alphabetical order.
If you don't choose country - it automatically selects the first one on the list (hence - Armenia)
