Hi Naes, I am sorry you are having people attack you,  maybe you have done to much to help everyone on the VJ forum and now people are taking you for granted or think it is your fault when there date is passed by, maybe over the next 4 to 8 weeks  you will have your NOA2 ..... then people can complain that it is ok for you, you can move on and we are still waiting..... the human race isn't a nice species,  most of us really appreciate the VOLUNATRY work you do here with the limited information the USCIS are putting out at the moment.

Absolutely you need SSN, but not employment - they give you a license until your K1 'times out' and then you show them your I-485 and they extend it again... once you get your greencard, all is well... this is my basic understanding of it so far, for GA at least.  (I dont have a UK license - I'll be learning)

As the UK guy, I was a bit peeved that I was unnecessary! hahahaha

Our case is now in the normal AP after approval, and should see a change to approved and issued by the beginning of next week (I have until 13th March so I think I'll be fine)

My fiancé is heading over tomorrow evening, and arrives on Wednesday. I sent an email last week to state that he will be attending using their online form, but didn’t hear anything back. 
Im so excited to see him. And then I feel sick for the interview lol
his birthday is Monday, and mine Tuesday so it will be nice for us to celebrate it together for the first time.

@vocaledge, You need to check this for yourself, but I understand you can drive on your UK licence until AOS since up to that time you are still just a visitor, I am sure there was some cases on the VJ site that covered this a few years ago. I am sure you need SSN and/ or Employment certificate to apply for a driving licence

I aim to send off for it around the end of March but just need to get an over view of what's needed, I am going to have a word with my doctor to see about any injections and then get a print out and then move on to the I -134 form (the number might be wrong on that one) so WHEN the Noa2 comes we are ready to go!

Hi Naes, could  you or an administrator ask  Ling Zhang and Zhi Lin  to correct their date on Igor's list, the "0" missing for February (2018-2-10) and they aren't moving off the list, thanks, It is good to see that all August will have been touch soon, maybe this time next week we will be looking at September filers at last.
   

Hi Marcris & Phil, the best advice I can give is to spend a few hours reading the posts on this site, @Naes has a lot of graphs and other members post scans, the one thing that you need to accept is that there is no  system to the way the USCIS work or as it has been over the last few months don't work, I think you would have more luck playing the numbers in Vegas than trying to understand the way they work at the USCIS.

We jumped another day as well! Side note; My ESTA expired yesterday and I'm actually a little excited that I'm not renewing it, cause the next time I'm going through immigration it'll be on my K1!  Had to share cause I'm just feeling v happy about all the Augustines approvals and I'm getting excited. Even though I'm quite late September I think the day they do the first batch of September approvals I'll cry with happiness. 

@JSCGPV it seems to me that this is what parts of the current administration want, if they can delay everything so much that people give up they have won, Please don't let them win, there are many like John & Rose are still waiting, my fiancée and I are just getting to the tense part as the USCIS are heading towards September, there are many days when I am worried sick as to when we will get our NOA2 and how many problems before it arrives. All I can ask how long have you waited?  do you love each other? then please try to give the process a few more weeks......... at least they are working on and around your date!

For what it is worth @Sal11I am worried about my medical too, since my (and every visa applicant's future) is depending on passing it I guess it is only natural,  I have small flat lump on my neck, it has been there for years and my Doctor said if it changes come back and see him, but I am still worried about that  and the whole medical in case they find something....  even though I have medicals for my work I still hate them

I was just happy that it disintegrated say to check back in 60 days.  This is the first response that I felt like there may actually be some movement.
 
I would love to hear them say they misplaced it.  At least there would be some relief from wondering if it even exists anymore.

If you work for the Government and can't explain it the rest of us stand no chance! my real worry is to be like John & Rose (and the others) left behind in June and even May

Hi Naes, Thanks for posting the scans, I see that the VJ time line has moved back again (3/ 29 -- 4/2) I know it doesn't mean a great deal but at least it is better than going the other way, it looks like the CIS has stopped on 8/15.. that would be good for us on 9/15! since we are 5 numbers apart how far are we up (or down) September 15th  pile of files?  

Good luck with that - you'll crash the servers with any continuously running code - this is not something we didn't think about trying in previous months, trust me.  Its also not a refusal to share... its that the person who created the script gave it for use on THIS website, and @Naes is respecting that.  I don't think she should be accused of witholding anything for having respect for the intellectual property of another person.

SOME of you guys in this month dont seem to know how lucky you are that they literally got through July so speedy and got to you when May filers are still waiting, so my suggestion is to smile, be happy and thankful, and dont take out any frustrations on others... We've seen it before.  @Naes @John & Rose @Swissmiss82 - trust me, we've seen it.  Just chill out and be thankful that there are people willing to try and help.

true, it is a strange world where it has been ok for women to wear men's clothes for years but if we wear women's it is considered odd....it's the high heels that put me off how can women walk in them!

That is going to be interesting for him going though customs with suitcases full of women's things and no woman with him!
