Hi, everyone.
This post might get moved but I'm not sure where to properly post it.
I want to offer you words of encouragement.
I married my American husband in October 2014. Nine months later, I got my green card, and moved to the U.S. 
I became a citizen in March of 2019 (and had a huge party that May). 
Forum, I have not looked back.
Immigration no longer consumes my thoughts, nor is it effectively a second job.
You will come out the other side of this. I know it's extremely frustrating now, but you WILL.

I’m a citizen! I naturalized at 500 Pearl St yesterday with a group that seemed a few hundred deep. 
I could not have achieved that milestone without the help I received from all of you in this community.

Got my oath notice - March 22 at 10am

Wow - thrilled to say I had my N-400 naturalization interview at the Javits building in Manhattan this morning and passed!
 
My interview time was 9:15 a.m. My USC husband and I arrived to the 7th floor via 4 train from the UES around 8:45 where GMA and then Kelly & Ryan were blaring LOL; at least it was distracting.
 
I got called back at almost exactly 10am by a friendly officer. She asked to see my green card, NY driver's license, and passport.
 
She started with the civics questions - Africans, November, declared our independence from Britain, Supreme Court, 6 years, 18-26. The iPad wasn't working so I did the English tests on paper (VERY EASY). 
 
There was an odd error in my application that she fixed and I signed for.
 
Fingerprints - index fingers only (I'm guessing to validate my identity).
 
She asked for copies of our taxes and one document indicating a joint account (I used the mortgage tax notice).
 
That was it! All told about 35 minutes in the office.
 
I had EVERYTHING with me that she could have asked for based on my reading the posts here - right down to new photos, expired passports, etc.  I brought it all home with me.
 
Now, I wait for notice on the oath!

Omg omg omg - checked the site last night and it says my Interview has been scheduled!!!!! I just kept staring at the page. I had checked it yesterday morning and it still said biometrics. Now to find the Documents tab (???) so I can see the Interview date!
