I remember when July was "HOT" and now it is definitely "COLD". Very few of us left who haven't received our NOA2's. I pray for each of us and hope that we will receive our notices soon. 

We never know what is fair and what is good for us.  Many here got their visas so quickly and then ended up separating.  My point it, do your best effort and then enjoy the ride, dont feel distressed since distress will harm no one except you.

yes you are right but its unfair that people who filled after us got visa.. and we are still waiting for approval...

Do your efforts well but in the end leave it all to the creator to get things going.  In everything there is good, even in waiting

I send in/faxed an inquiry form to my area US Senators office on Feb. 28.  On March 05 I had a call from the office that my case is assigned to an adjudicator and I should hear something in a weeks time frame.  Today I called the senators office and the person assigned to my case will call CSC again and update me this afternoon.  Lets see how this goes.

the visa process isn't faster or slower depending on what country the beneficiary is located in - it's processed through the US regardless. Currently it's taking about 10 months on average from start to finish - about 6-7 months for the petition to be approved, and then several months for the National Visa center to transfer the case and for the fiance to get their interview. 
 
Is your fiance a Saudi national or just living in Riyadh for work? 
I ask because Saudi nationals have a very low rate of approval for K1 visas - only 3 were approved in all of 2017. Others who happen to live in Riyadh for work but have passports from other countries do somewhat better, but not Saudis themselves for some reason. So make sure that you have a LOT of evidence of a strong relationship.

Seriously though, I don't think you have any reason to feel bad for posting about your approval or anything else, but I understand how you feel.
 
Hey, that sounds like some good news for sure.
 

Not there, but similar I am getting ready for my two + weeks of "showers"  with cold water.  She said she would put a pot on the fire for me, but I said if you did this all your life I can handle a couple of weeks.   That may change when i am back there.  this will be my first time with their colder months it does get down to the upper 60's at night and the water comes from the mountain.

It is always warm there. To goes all the way down to 85 where she lives.  They don’t need the warm water but I still would heat some on the stove for my showers. 

I apologize if you mistook my comment as a negative response. I know firsthand the struggles of raising a special needs child. Perhaps if he gets accommodations at school or an IEP in place they can better modify his environment so they are less dependent on you. I certainly struggled (for years!) to get my son the help he needed from a public school system. 
 
My comment was geared more towards your expedite request, as there is no guarantee unfortunately thst your husband  (or mine when he gets here) will find gainful employment to assist, and now there are 3 people to house, feed, etc. If your husband has a job in his country maybe he can help a little from there. 
 
We have been dealing with uscis a long time on these boards usually,  and we know the comments they make and while it may be a super difficult struggle for yoy, unfortunately they may not see it that way. Still, it doesn't hurt to try, the worst they say is no and then you're in the same position you are in now.

I WENT TO THE INTERVIEW TODAY.....WE GOT APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
 
 
I still can't believe it.

I've moved on to another limbo. Waiting for NVC to assign my number, no idea if I'll make it to an interview in April or if it will have to be May, and in the meantime I will quit my job/ stay with friends/ possibly go back to my parents, where will I mail my passport lol 
For anyone still waiting, I will just repeat what I wrote before, talk to your congressperson, ring them, show up at their office, they can inquire on your behalf! I am really stressed to see people that filled in September being approved when June and July is still waiting, and I was approved, I can only imagine the pain of the ones still waiting. And of course, I am selfishly thinking they are making NVC and interview dates busier and it's just ridiculous that they don't approve this in order. 
Phew all said and done, can't wait to be with my future hubby 

Well time to begin praying! Fiancee has her interview in 3 hours!! Come on Jakarta please please make this a quick and easy interview lol....
