I've just checked CEAC and my AOS has changed to N/A. I couldn't believe it, so excited as this has meant case complete for others. I can't get through to NVC been trying most of the day today even before the N/A.
Packages sent together - Scan date 6th October
Day 56 of 60 days today called Friday and was told to call back this week.
God is good.
Yay! Congratulations.....I was wondering where all the CCs were at today. It's been slow today but at least we are starting to see some progress.

Hi everyone, just checking in. My third month at NVC with a scan date of 10/23 (email said 10/21; rep said 10/23).
Hoping for a CC with no checklists by 12/22 at the very latest! Hopefully this week will be productive!!
-
DAY 41 AT NVC, AOS CHECKLIST OF OCT20TH, hope to see CC in the next 2-3weeks.
ANYBODY ELSE WITH OCT 20something CHECKLIST?
Hi, my scan date is 10/23 for both packages. I know there are three others on this thread with scan dates of: 10/21, 10/23, and 10/24. With you, we are now 5 (so far).

is there a rule for nvc that they only issue checklist once? if the doc is still unacceptable; then the applicant just need to bring the original to the consulate for the interview. is this true?
No it is not. They typically issue a total of 2 checklists and in some rare cases they have issued 3. Usually it is only a max of 2 and then the third time you can take the correction to the embassy.

I'm not in holiday mode but they are I'm sure. Not updated for me at least I'm sure it will be a while. You would think they would have a better way of keeping files so they can help those of us who have been waiting forever instead of using the excuse we can't go looking for it we get thousands in a day. Excuse after excuse they make me sick.
See I'm not always positive.
I love that emoticon!!!! haha...totally me on some days when I see that they take their sweet time. I really hope those with scan dates of 10/02 & 10/03 are approved by tomorrow so they can move on to the following week on Friday! Wishful thinking I know
-
The first of the week is usually good with cc don't know why they slow down at this point, Maybe the Holiday? I got the cc email today but ceac stills says Paid.. don't always go by that
Maybe they get slow at end of month because they are busy scheduling interviews? Who knows....it's still so sad b/c I know a lot of people were hoping for CC by today or tomorrow.

I can't believe we have not heard of any new CCs this morning. So sad. . . .

Ok that's good advice. I will get up early on Thursday morning and call.
I don't know the time difference between Australia and USA, but just FYI that they will be closed on Thursday November 27th for Thanksgiving. They will be open on Friday the 28th though.

Still no n/a, guess we are getting a checklist
I hate this process
Some people are going up the 60th day. . . you still have a few more days to go so hang in there. Also, not sure if you saw Qbanita's post but she received CC on 11/18 (found out today) and her AOS never changed to N/A (it still shows as PAID). So remember that that is never 100% accurate. I know you are in Australia so maybe call on Wednesday before they close for the holiday. Best of luck!

Am I understating the scheduling of interviews correctly?
There will be an initial scheduling of interviews from the last 2 days of the month to the first week of the following month right? Then there is another round of scheduling mid-month? For example: scheduling will begin this week of November through December 5th (next week)? And then there will be another round in mid-December?

I travel to Mexico everyday to be with my husband (couldn't stand the idea of living apart). They always ask why I go and I always say the same thing: to see my husband. No issues....in fact, at this point they stopped asking LOL!!! Best of luck!

A Facebook Oct 7th got CC last week. They had sent both packages together in August and received a checklist Oct 2nd, checklist scan date Oct 7.
I'm sorry if this was already posted. I've had 100 law essays to grade this past week -- 13 more to go.
Thank you for letting us know! That was a quick review! Congrats to them!

I haven't seen many people with October scan dates. Just a few compared with September. And some of them got cleared by having September scan dates too. I wonder if they will get faster through this month.
I really hope that is the case!!!

So far I see they are working on October 3 dates. Any other CCs today?
-
Great to see that! I'm Oct 21, so we'll all be happy together! Wooohoooo!!
Late October dates can't get here fast enough! ha-ha....hopefully my CC predicted range is correct and I get a CC before the 60 days! TheBigO predicted December 3-15 so hopefully it's in the earlier dates like the 10th or 11th.
-
Woohoo! They are officially in October dates based on what I saw on the other thread!!! Soloenta, we will get our CCs soon! You are 10/22 and I am 10/23....I pray no checklists and fast CCs!!
I think the last CC was for October 3rd.

Does anyone know how long that they took to get through September? Just trying to gauge if calculations are right. According to TheBigO's calculation it looks like I should start getting ready to hear something from the NVC the end of next week (of course with an Oct. 23rd scan date I know that I gotta give at least another week or so after that to really start getting ready). But would love to see if the average of this month will be the same throughout Oct.
Also, is the FB page active? I looked up visa journey and found a group but I have yet to be added and was wondering if it was worth trying to get added if they don't have any updates like I am looking for.
Hello, you and I have the same scan date and The BigO was kind enough to calculate the date range of my predicted CC:
Using October 23 as your last scan date, the math predicts, with 84.08%: 3 December - 15 December.
It also predicts that, with less certainty, 8 December - 12 December.
So we MAY hear something next week but I HIGHLY doubt it. From the looks of it and what I have "analyzed" it's taking people at least 50 days to get a CC (those are the ones that receive an early CC of course). 50 days for us would be December 12 (which falls in the predicted range) and is more plausible then next week or even the week after. I wish it was next week though! LOL

Officially hit the 30-day mark today!!
I'm hoping for a CC by no later than the 60-day limit (12/22) BUT praying for an earlier date (like the one The BigO gave me with his math prediction....that's insane how math can be used even for this!).....
Really hoping NVC speeds up b/c they were super duper slow this week starting on Wednesday. Who knows what happened....they were fast Monday & Tuesday and then it seemed kinda dead on here the rest of the week!

You're right. I forget that sometimes lol . . . hopefully they are working on those dates, it's just not reflected on here.
True, very true!
I'm sorry about that....i know what that feels like (happened to me at USCIS stage). But hang in there.....your time is almost up and soon you will have your CC
