  1. Haha, wish I could have you ask about mine while you're at it! Let me know what they said, mine were delivered via FedEx early on 10/22. :)

Geez i was on hold for 51 minutes to have a 1 minute call! LOL

Received date of 10/23/14 - today! Yay....countdown begins now....

B/c there is a holiday in November (Thanksgiving), i assume my 60 day completion date will be 12/24/14 (62 days after today).....I'm trying to get in before the Christmas and New Years holiday

  2. It is finally out of our hands and into the NVC. Don't look back now and let's get through this as quickly as possible - just promise you'll come celebrate on here when you get it (as you'll be a day ahead of me with scan date I believe!) -- of course after you celebrate it with your hubby!!

Of course! I plan to keep following the NVC thread in order to be updated. If you get a CC before me, also let us know! Hopefully it takes less than 60 days but i am not planning on it so i won't be disappointed.

  3. Yaay! I've been MIA lately on this thread...just got our package sent today (10/21) - I'll post my delay in a new message so others can perhaps benefit (or the few that are in my neck of the woods...) But congrats, we will probably have almost the same scan date together so let's see what happens...praying for both of us!!

FYI I saw somewhere that it is better to just paperclip? I know you already sent it but it's just for the fact that the reps will have to 'unstaple' and that takes more time away from them.

I sent in my package yesterday 10/20/2014 and it was delivered this morning 10/21! I'm hoping they scan it in their system by tomorrow 10/22 and my 60 days begin. B/c of the many upcoming holidays in the USA, I am not expecting a CC until about the very end of December (30th perhaps).

I'm so excited and so happy at the same time that i am done with putting things together and paying fees. All I am doing now is praying to my Lord Jesuschrist that I do not get a checklist!

Best of luck to you too! :)

  4. You're welcome!

Obviously, writing the case number isn't a 100% guarantee the documents still won't get lost (you know how special NVC is ;) ), but I'm sure your chances are much lower of that happening if there's some identifying numbers on each page.

Yes, of course. NVC is extremely special lol

By the way, sorry for the double post but i have one more question. I am sendg out both packages today but each cover sheet has a different Attention to: (AOS has CMR AOS and IV has CMR). Since i am putting these in a FedEx envelope, does it matter what address I send them to? Is there a preference of one over another?

  5. By all documents, I meant all of them (except the cover letter and cover sheet, as I mentioned).

The whole purpose of writing the case number is in case one of the papers falls out of the package and gets misplaced. If there's a case number on the document, then it'll be that much easier for them to relocate it to your case.

But it's entirely up to you if you don't want to write the case number. I suggest you do though.

Thank you Saylin! I will do it :) I've seen too many people get dinged b/c NVC lost one of their docs. Thank you again! :)

  6. Its always safe to attach Translations along with the originals . It makes it easier for them to review...Thats how sent it ...I put All Originals and Translations together and then All Photocopies. It will be cumbersome for reviewer to know which translation is for which certificate

Thank you! That's my fear, that they won't know and here comes a checklist! Thanks again :)

One more question, did you staple your documents? For example, did you staple the entire AOS form? Staple each IRS Transcript/return, etc...? I know it's a silly question but you never know with them, that's why!
