We are filing on my husband (petitioners) assets alone. We received the so called 'checklist' regarding no meeting fanancial requirements here is the excerpt:

The NVC has received the information you have submitted in reference to

the Affidavit of Support. Please be advised that the Affidavit of Support

information you have provided does not appear to meet the minimum

income requirement according to the current poverty guidelines to sponsor

the intending immigrant(s) for this petition. The consular officer will make

a decision regarding this requirement at the time of your interview. In

order to avoid delays, you may wish to submit an additional Affidavit of

Support (Form I-864) for a/another Joint Sponsor to the National Visa

Center to assist in sponsoring the intending immigrants. To view the

current poverty guidelines, visit

http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-864P.pdf.

If you decide to use a Joint Sponsor to assist in sponsoring the intending

immigrants, please note that you the sponsor may not use Form I-864EZ

and will also need to submit Form I-864.

I remember reading someone getting the same email regarding them only submitting assets and I think someone confirmed that it was a CC and we need to bring the documents to the embassy *BUT* I need to confirm...

I'm trying to get through the NVC right now but was hoping fellow NVC'ers could help faster than I can get a rep on the phone to calm my down my anxiety.

I see Saylin responded as well and i agree with her. I think you likely have a CC and this is just a "warning" regarding the assets. I dare to say CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Haha - I don't think I'll push my luck today. I figure I'll keep watching the CEAC webpage every now and again and then call tomorrow if I still see nothing. I'll take my chances with 1 phone call a day - if I can call in the am. I am certainly not calling now where it takes 40mins to get someone and they are already cranky and ready to bite someones head off!

For those of you who got Case Completes, could you please let us know whether or not you have left the Middle Name fields blank in I-864 if you don't have a middle name...

I'm trying to see if people got check listed for leaving their middle names blank if they don't have one.

My husband does not have a middle name. I filled out I-864EZ and left the middle name section blank.

i am on hold (finally!)...literally had to redial 60 times to be able to get in to the queue. I am so glad I have CC, just need to hear the magical words lol

I saw that about interviews too. I don't understand. Are there only certain times they schedule interviews? I thought it was just as the info comes into the embassy. :/ I keep checking the CEAC site several times a day even though I shouldn't. CC coming soon I hope..

Yes, the NVC/embassies only schedule interviews at certain times, not as they come in. They usually start scheduling the last two days of the month (weekdays only) and the first week of the new month. One VJ member was told that they will start a second round of interviews this week so hopefully I make it for a January interview.

Here's an example: NVC started scheduling interviews the first week of December but Egypt barely starting scheduling today. NVC sets up the interview for us BUT the embassy is the one that decides when they begin to schedule and what dates they give. In this particular part, NVC is just the middle man, the embassy has control of setting a date.

Soloenta: I read on the interview thread that Egypt started scheduling interviews today, so hopefully you get CC by tomorrow and you get an interview in January as well! YAY!!!!

OMG my AOS changed from PAID to N/A!!!!! I checked this morning and nothing and i checked again (twice of course lol) and it has now changed to N/A. I cannot get through to NVC (called 20 times already) but as soon as I do, i will confirm with you all!

Gosh I am certainly in the wrong time zone because when everyone is up and awake and getting great news - I'm stuck in bed sleeeeeping away. So I guess I have to dance alone congratulating all the CC's and know that the ones that are still here it's getting close and our time is coming!! SOOOO happy for you guys and I'll call next week (perhaps i'll wait till Tuesday...no wait...Monday...lol) to check and see. Let's pray for the best and those that have waited and got your CC - Congrats once again guys and gals!!!

i asked this question last month already but i still have no answer, maybe someone can help me out here?!

we had/have 2 cases at uscis, for me and my daughter, my case was approved and send to nvcin october, 2 days ago i got my case/ invoice numbers and the welcome letter. my daughter however is still at uscis. on november, 6 i put in a service request and the reply was-

Your petition is still pending consideration. We regret that we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will complete the review of your petition.

now it wont let me to make a new request anymore

what do i do? proceed my case at nvc and try to expedite her once she gets there? wait for my daughter?

I don't know much about this other than you can try to get your senator involved so they can inquire about your case or delay your case at NVC until she is approved. NVC requires you to maintain contact with them though so make sure to that by calling or paying one fee at a time in intervals. if more than a year passes without contact, there's a consequence -- not sure what it is. it's on their website i believe. Best of luck! i hope your child's case is transferred soon!

It just changed! We got N/A under "Affidavit of Support Fee"! Yesterday I called 3 times and they all said that it wasn't reviewed yet and today I checked it several times and no update either... until now! Hope you guys get it reviewed soon as well!

hi guys!! congrats on the recent CC as you all know I got a CC a couple weeks ago and my status changed to N/A during the afternoon so dont loose hope. Ive been kind of away from my computer because well I am extreamly super duper busy with work.. Our interview its Jan 28 we already got our plane tickets, booked the hotel and ill make an appoiment for my medical and biometricsnext week. Just for other fellow mexicans here, you guys know that to get to Juarez its kind of complicated, at leats for me that im from the north of Mexico, (Sinaloa) flights are very limited. My dad will be going with me and we will flight to Mexico City then Ciudad Juarez, so expensive too. 1k round trip.. Anyways im gonna see my hubby tomorrow after 2 months and hopefully it will be the last time we say goodbye, after over 40 times.. I keep you all on my prayers!! God bless

I checked that out too regarding flights and they are limited for me as well. We plan to fly Volaris so that has direct flights to CDJ. It amazes me that with CDJ being the only consulate available and the busiest they do not have more flights. Oh well!
