I just heard in my travel group that in order to receive a Nigerian tourist visa that you have to appear in person at OIS for biometrics. I’ve always submitted my application by mail? Is this true? Does the embassy really expect people to travel for all over the US to Atlanta for a tourist visa?

My husband’s POE was actually in Abu Dhabi. When he landed in Dallas he just walked off the plane.

I’d go to any local black beauty supply(excluding Sally’s) and ask a Korean person to translate. They own a majority stake in all of them. Good luck and best wishes.

Depending on the date of your wedding you may have time to have attire made when you arrive. I’ve had attire made in a day for me. I’m crossing my fingers for you.☘️☘️☘️

foreignnaijawife reacted to NigeriaorBust in Filin for my children if could get a waiver mother late
In Nigerian law the man is the one given control of the children.  You moved here , I assume through a new marriage, and for ease left the children in your first wife's compound .  Now that she is dead , you will not require a slip to show she is ok with your bringing them here.  You will need her death notice .   Did you list the children on your immigration papers.  Either way the embassy may want DNA testing to prove you are the father.  Your wife should file the I130 as a USC it would be faster ( assuming the children were under 18 when you married )

I've been enjoying my husband since he arrived in February. He was worth every year of the two year visa process. I come back on VJ at least monthly. A vast difference from my daily attendance here. I just wanted to encourage everyone to be a bit more patient.

Been there, done that, have the t shirt. I promise this will all seem like a bad dream once he's here with you. I started Foreign Wives of African Men on FB to help with those feelings. Feel free to join.

For future reference, go to your health dept back in the States and request a copy for future travels to Nigeria. I keep mine in my passport holder.

To answer the OP, I wpuld base my decision on my budget. It appears that you have sufficent facetime. You also mentioned front and sideloading. Also keep in mind, the money that you spend traveling could be used to bring him home.

Received our case complete via email today. I checked CEAC and the trick about watching it change from Paid to N/A never worked for us. We received our NOA2 in May. So we spent less than 7 months at NVC. Just wanted to give an update. I'll see y'all on Dwheels case complete thread
