  1. The people of Mn knew Franken was a disgusting wacko when they voted him in. Look at all the things he has said and done in the past. I am not surprised about his behavior at all. That said….allegations are now enough to get rid of him? Sure there is one picture where he was disrespectful of a woman….but thats not sexual assault. A very slippery slope where all one needs are some allegations thrown against them….and you are done.  I thought there was going to be some type of due process? an ethics hearing? concrete evidence?

I lose no sleep over his "resignation" and I do believe he is part of the swamp…..but I prefer law and order…not witch hunts.

I've talked to several people who regret voting for him.  He seems to pick a new group every day to alienate, and this one defies logic. He gains nothing by insulting Warren, and he comes off as a bigot once again.

Obviously, there are people who voted for him who support this kind of behavior, but there are some who are embarrassed by it. Like all demagogues, give 'em enough rope and they'll eventually hang themselves with it.

Sounds exactly like the nonsense I heard everyday….BEFORE the election.  Don't worry….I expect to hear this for the next 7 years.

I disagree. Those who post to provoke are pretty obvious here, he does not fit that category but prefers to post with understanding and intellect
and yes, I am into that rather than attacks and parroted misinformation. He needs no defending, his posts speak for themselves.
It just rubs me the wrong way to see a decent poster attacked like that.

Who are you kidding?  You are not like him.

I have to disagree with your assessment. He is one of the most precise, factual posters here, fair and kind.
He doesn't act like he is an intellectual superior, his posts convey an intellect delivered in a humble manner that one should learn from rather than attack.

Regardless of how you view him……he just likes to argue for arguments sake. Thats fine….if thats what one is into.

Republicans decided Obama was a dictator, so they feel it's perfectly okay to support an actual dictator of there own. The other day I pointed out that Trump would do his best to fill the supreme Court with judges that support Republican policy, and of course the response I got back, was along the lines, ah but Democrats would do the same thing. It's all out war with Republicans vs everyone else.

Why would he appoint judges that support republican policy?

He appoints judges that support the constitution. The way it should be.
