Why would anyone want a bicycle to be insanely fast? Btw, any bicycle with a motor (electric or gas powered) and pedals is in fact a moped. Sure, you can get these sans pedals, then they would just be a motorcycle where the motor is electric. No differences, still just a means of transportation with different pros and cons.

Technically it was your choice, but in the end, I think easily explainable. I know my wife was able to find employment easily, and our cousins that came over on DVs pretty much took any job they could from the start, and in about 9 months or so got something in their field. I would expect perspective employers in your space will understand the gap. Good Luck!

I suspect a lot of the more leftist GFOs (government funded organizations) that were receiving funds from USAID are still sitting on savings and doling it out to these extremist leftist groups that love to cover their faces. EDIT: I guess I should read the article before I comment, but hey, it is obvious.

I agree, a petition will not really help materially in this case. A K1 visa is technically a non-immigrant visa that allows for legal preplanned AOS after entry, it is not a family based or immediate relative visa. In order to help your actual immigration case, you need to plot a new course toward a spousal visa. Good Luck!

How To Commit Democratic Party Suicide
Dashinka replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Why do the Democrats insist on leaving the "W" out of the acronym for this initiative? -
Question about after approval
Dashinka replied to Dominic828's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
Here is the case @TBoneTX was referring too. As he said, answering questions of the CBP officer should be professional truthful, and not a joke. There is no requirement to offer information that has not been asked for, but the questions asked need to be answered truthfully and professionally. Good Luck! -
Nvc interview
Dashinka replied to Silverback's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Yes, and yes, but unlikely. I understand Lagos is a very busy consulate. Good Luck! -

Haven’t heard any stories of anyone in this situation having issues. Personally, I would not worry about it. Good Luck! -
US Visit Visa to I-130?
Dashinka replied to SaltyCaptain592's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
A person cannot enter the U.S. on a B2 visitor visa with the intention to stay and adjust status. That being said, if someone has already entered the U.S. on a B2 visa, and their situation changes which allows them to adjust status, then yes. From your post, I am not clear as to what specifically you are asking. Are you a USC seeking a foreign spouse? -
Yes, a new JS can be used, have them fill out the latest I864 and if married, you may want the spouse to also fill out the I864A. Take all of that along with their financial evidence supporting the I864 to the interview. You also may need to make sure the I864 from your initial JS is withdrawn at the interview. Good Luck!

Expedite requests are kind of luck of the draw. I know in several years, I have not seen any sure fire cases of expedites being approved all the time. Beyond that, I hope your parents stay safe as even if you are successful with an expedite (you can try again with more information), it will still take a considerable amount of time to get completely through their cases. Good Luck!

I understand the consternation, but your mother is an LPR regardless if she has the physical GC in her hand, and she has alternatives for her upcoming trip if the physical card is in fact lost. If you think her trip will extend out past the validity of her temporary GC currently in her passport, then get an ADIT stamp prior to her departure. Even if the card is lost, there is no way she will get a physical GC via an I90 filing in time for the trip. Good Luck!

OK, so only 4 days so far in the USPS system. I would not assume it is lost at this point. No activity could mean it is currently at a major sorting location before it moves on to your local post office for eventual delivery. Could show up in the next few days. Regardless, her stamped passport which occurred in March/April should be fine for this trip as it will still be valid in January 2026 (See US CBP Carrier Guide). If you are worried, you can contact USCIS and request "ADIT stamp". Good Luck! https://www.cbp.gov/document/guides/carrier-information-guide

Delays in NVC processing?
Dashinka replied to londoner2025's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
This is why I asked about the consulate as NVC will only trigger that if the specific consulate can take on the workload.
