  1. I doubt it. Good Luck!
  2. From the Consulate Website. Non-diplomatic visa services in the Russian Federation are suspended indefinitely. Russian nationals and residents are eligible to apply for U.S. visas at any U.S. Embassy or Consulate outside of the Russian Federation. For more information on local procedures at those diplomatic missions, please visit their websites for the most current information https://ru.usembassy.gov/visas/nonimmigrant-visas/
  3. Keep in mind she will need to look for a third country to apply for a B2 as none of the consulates in Russia are processing visa applications for B2’s. I will move this to the Russia Regional forum for better ideas and responses. Good Luck!
  4. Honestly, I would wait, and pay close attention for the notice of the upcoming oath, and make sure I could attend said oath (I.e. reschedule anything that might impact attending the oath). Good Luck!
  5. Just to clarify for others that may read this post. She was properly issued a CR1 visa as at the time of the interview you were married less than two years, but she entered the US after your second wedding anniversary so is entitled to a 10yr GC (you say IR1 visa, but at this point we are only talking about the physical green card). That being said, I agree with @OldUser, you can follow either path they laid out for the erroneously issued 2yr conditional green card. Good Luck!
  6. Moved to the Asia: South regional forum for specific answers.
  7. Are you in the AOS phase right now? Assuming yes, not really sure I would risk a trip like that without an approved AOS, or at least an approved AP. I am curious, how would you get there without going through another country? Good Luck!
  8. In general yes. Essentially you go to the interview, meet all the requirements to get the visa with the exception of the bar, but since the end of the bar is so close, you will be put in "Refused" or "Administrative Processing" status until the bar is completed. Good Luck!
  9. Send the I485 with a copy of the I130 receipt NOA. Should not really be much of a delay, and no issue sending the I130 first, but not sure of the processing times for the I130 and I485 which can be done either at a service center, or at your local office. Good Luck!
  10. Written story below. Gotta love government "progress". https://www.agweb.com/news/business/farmland/city-gov-seize-175-year-old-farm-eminent-domain-replace-affordable-housing
  11. Getting a lawyer is up to you. What I would do right now is focus on the I130 process, particularly the instructions, and see what evidence do you need to establish your parenthood, etc. Good Luck!
  12. Anecdotal related to Dulles only, but about 50 or so folks in the GE line after the kiosks vs. no one in the App line, and yes, the App users were directed to a separate line at least at Dulles.
  13. File the I130. USCIS and consulates deal with children that are not known about at the time of a father's immigration all the time. You did what you could at your interview, and in fact if you had come to VJ before your interview with a DS260 locked and new information, the advice would have been to inform the consulate officer of the change. Anyway, file your I130, you need to provide paternal proof, and you will be fine from that standpoint.
  14. OK, so as @appleblossom and I stated, you did what you could to notify them of the child. What is your future plan? Is the child with you right now?
  15. Debated posting this (kind of want to keep it secret ). Anyway, using the global entry app literally allowed myself and my work colleague to pass through CBP in minutes at Washington Dulles. For anyone familiar with Dulles, while riding on the arrival shuttle from a British Airways flight, we downloaded the app, signed up, and set our arrival information. When we reached the CBP arrival hall, it was packed, but we made our way to the GE App line which was empty, talked to an officer, and passed through. Now in our case we did not check any luggage (it was a quick trip), so we did not have to wait at the carousel, but the App is worth it especially at PoE's that tend to be busy.
  16. Getting pretty tired of Bondi, Patel, and Bongino with all their over promising, and under delivering.
  17. Trying to understand the question here. You had a change after the DS260 was locked, so you informed the CO of the child at the interview. Are you looking to petition the child now as an F2A?
  18. I agree with the attorney's recommendation. My now wife did not disclose that she knew me back when she applied for the second time for a B2. The CO, during the B2 interview, actually asked about me, so somehow the consulate knew, and my then girlfriend did acknowledge she knew me. She was rejected for the B2, but she was ultimately approved for a K1 about 6 months later (yes things moved faster back then). Not really sure this is material mis-representation, but it sounds like you have an attorney advising you, so they should know better. Good Luck!
  19. Look at the NTSB study on Northwest Flight 255 out of Detroit from back in 1987. If this was in fact the case, and as @LIBrty4all stated, the Boeing's do not have proper warnings, what have we learned?
  20. This is extremely a sad tale. I was on something like six flights within/entering/leaving India last week, and it is very common for these selfies by those on the flight. I saw so many folks taking selfies while boarding or after taking their seats it was amazing. I am sure there are other stories out there from this Air India flight. R.I.P. for this family and all the other souls on board this flight that did not survive.
  21. I was still trying to figure out what everything was all about. Were these folks against Charles becoming King of the UK/GB? I also heard there were some Canadians at these protests. Aren't they nominally ruled by a king?
  22. I will say that this has greatly impacted air traffic to and from India.
  23. More to show how ineffective the California Democrat leadership is I suppose. Another factor is of course lessons learned from the 2020 Summer of Love particularly in Portland. I have been out-of-touch for a week, but wasn't the NG deployed to protect federal property in LA? I remember a federal building in Portlandia being overtaken, or severely damaged.
