  1. What I do not understand is what shields the Bidens from any liability here? I know when my brother and SIL got a rescue dog, he showed signs of nipping people including their grandson, and my wife (he is great around my brother and SIL). They took big measures to not allow the dog around others as they did not want to be liable.
  2. So it seems obvious, the primate is no longer superior.
  3. Can you do Apple Maps on the screen? I know Tesla does not use CarPlay, so do you have to plug in? For certain reasons, at least for now, I need to use vehicles from a certain manufacturer, and they are moving to get rid of CarPlay and rely on the Google system. I prefer Waze, and I am wondering what my option will be then. I suppose a phone holder from WeatherTech, or something like that.
  4. Apologies, I should have been more detailed. When we first saw the officer he was just starting to pull back into traffic. By the time the Tesla started it's acceleration, the officer was up-to-speed. I will say, I am happy for Waze as it gave us warning there was an officer ahead as both my wife and I tend to be a little liberal with the speed limit. Does the Tesla nav system do that (honestly, I would like to know)?
  5. Hmm, I thought these folks were supposed to be smart. This is the first year that the Grace Hopper Celebration will come to Philadelphia. The news comes after AntiaB.org previously announced that 2023 would be the last year it would host the conference in Florida, due to the increasingly limited LGBTQ+ rights in the state.
  6. I expect it was a speeding ticket as since we were all moving at the posted speed limit including the police officer, and the Model Y (the Pontiac Aztek of EVs IMO) was clearly pulling away, it did not take a rocket scientists, or radar to see the Tesla was far exceeding the speed limit. Beyond that, are you saying EVs should be exempt?
  7. It seems Queen Nancy set the rule that the office is for the immediate former speaker, so McCarthy gets it now. GOP lawmakers deny revenge play against Pelosi with office evictions after McCarthy ouster https://www.foxnews.com/politics/gop-lawmakers-deny-revenge-play-against-pelosi-office-evictions-mccarthy-ouster
  8. After the US Civil War where the states lost a lot of powers they had, and the Federal bureaucracy started to grow.
  9. Personally, the groundwork was laid in 1856, then the reapportionment act of 1929 solidified 2 Parties. From there, downhill.
  10. Well, it seems the K1 officer thought that was the case, was there anything on social media or in the photos she may have shared to make them think that. It seems there is an out with a 212 waiver as the CO told her at the spousal visa interview. Good Luck!
  11. Expect more coerced and orchestrated events from the Deep State. Exclusive: The FBI Targets Trump Followers as the 2024 Election Nears https://www.newsweek.com/2023/10/13/exclusive-fbi-targets-trump-followers-2024-election-nears-1831836.html
  12. So how did she mis-represent herself at the K1 interview. Sounds like the K1 interviewer thought your were too married for a K1 visa, and now you will need a 212 waiver. Seems like you should focus on that with the lawyer you are working with. https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-9-part-f-chapter-2
  13. Seemed most appropriate here. How Conservatives Quietly Outmaneuvered Weakened McConnell On Ukraine Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell suffered a stunning blow this weekend when Republicans in the upper chamber disregarded his repeated calls for prioritizing Ukraine funding by passing the House GOP’s short-term spending bill, which included no provisions for the Volodymyr Zelensky regime. Publicly, McConnell pretended his move to finance the proxy war in Ukraine was temporarily tabled for the convenience of avoiding an imminent government shutdown. Behind closed doors, the Senate minority leader’s plan to indefinitely send U.S. tax dollars to Eastern Europe was shunned by nearly every member of his party who expressed discomfort with hinging the fate of the government shutdown on Ukraine. Corporate media and Beltway insiders paint the titanic twist as a sign that the longest-serving Senate party leader in US history is losing control of his conference. The Senate Republicans who defied McConnell and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s expensive spending package, however, are simply finally harnessing the collective decision-making power they’ve always had to better reflect the party and constituents. https://thefederalist.com/2023/10/03/how-conservatives-quietly-outmaneuvered-weakened-mcconnell-on-ukraine/
  14. Seems quite obvious, and I expect has been mostly discussed already. What I wanted to show is the cracks that are forming in Ukraine. It is interesting the Leftist MSM does not seem to report on any of this. Ukraine war: The real issue is NATO and Russia Some of the opposition reflects concern about rampant Ukrainian corruption. However, the bigger problem in Ukraine is a political struggle highlighted by the fact that the current commander in chief of Ukraine’s army, General Valerii Zaluzhny, is opposed to the plans for the Dnieper offensive that Zelensky and Washington are pushing. Beyond that, in August and September Ukraine came nowhere near to drafting enough men and women into the army because of growing resistance. The firing of recruiters, therefore, was not because of corruption (although there probably was some), but because of poor recruitment numbers. There are various threats to Zaluzhny. The BBC Ukrainian Service reported recently that the Ukrainian State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) and the domestic intelligence agency, SBU, have launched a criminal investigation against Zaluzhny for the failure of the recent counteroffensive in the south. This investigation could not happen without Zelensky’s support. Zelensky has installed his own people in the SBU and uses it to arrest and harass his opponents. https://asiatimes.com/2023/10/ukraine-war-the-real-issue-is-nato-and-russia/
  15. So we are back to the banks not doing due diligence when doing a loan? Which banks? These banks need to be named as victims, so we can get our money out of them.
  16. Wait, I was told the federal government always gets it right. There used to be a time when the government was actually restricted by the Constitution...
  17. And for some reason, Republicans are always trying to make nice with the Leftist mainstream media.
  18. Loved the second comment (cannot repost it here for obvious reasons). Doesn’t this person understand the rules put in place by the Left/progressives?
  19. So a list of DC and political establishment types. What else is new. Btw, it was Pence that screwed up the federal response to Covid.
  20. Trump is certainly no hero of mine, but if he shakes up the corrupt US government, more the better. I know, you love the DC bureaucracy, God knows why, and you think they will make everything right. If you are depending on that sewer, you will be disappointed, but feel free to keep cheering on the totalitarian state the fire alarm pulling Democrats are creating.
