N and J got a reaction from ijay in Abusive Wife
Don't think he was asking for sympathy...I think he was looking for advice. I would be worried too if I didn't know the rules and regulations in a country and someone started telling me I was going to pay alimony. I am going to go out on a limb here and say he probably does not have a job that he could even afford to put a roof over his own head let alone pay for another to survive. When do you want him to start documenting things? Do you document things in your relationship now fights, problems, and what not JUST IN CASE? No normally people start documenting when things go wrong. Some people would rather not sit in an unhappy and unhealthy relationship and would rather divorce. Not sure why he even still talks to her but...

Do you know every medication someone takes? Do you go through people's prescription bottles? If so do you know what every medication out there is for? He lives in another country these medications for mental illness many times have never made it to other countries...Maybe she lied about what they were... If she was on her medication maybe he would not have known...Maybe now she is off her medication. Some people are embarrassed by their mental illness and will never tell anyone and sometimes people will never know who had a mental illness. You would never be able to tell if someone was bipolar while they are taking medication. Don't assume. I see clients every day and you would never be able to tell there was an issue until they told you. Because they take the medication like they are supposed to. Mental illness is not just picking up on cues of sadness or hearing sadness in someone's voice. As trained professionals we miss cues sometimes so I doubt someone who knows nothing about mental illness would be able to tell what was going on even more so coming from another country where I highly doubt mental illness is as well known as here. Also, no one knows what she is....it was speculation she was bipolar and most of the time these are not symptoms of bipolar 1 or bipolar 2.

N and J got a reaction from EM_Vandaveer in ***DILEMMA: ADVISE NEEDED URGENTLY PLEASE***
I did not assassinate anyone's character. I asked a specific question and I KNOW it has nothing to do with his citizenship BUT IT JUST MAY cause problems when he tries to bring a new wife here from his own country. There was nothing wrong with what I asked and you can clearly see I was not being rude or attacking his character. Don't try and start trouble.

N and J reacted to LionessDeon in Second time filing....?
You have made topics is three different forums. The previous post I saw by you is just a general question "why were you denied AOS"?
This post was a bit confusing. A baby only proves you had sex not that the relationship is bonafide. Hopefully, your lawyer did a good job of proving that part.
Good Luck!

To be fair, you too are being unfaithful in the marriage. It doesn't seem like a healthy / productive marriage either way.
If it were me, I'd be focusing on resolving the personal issues before tackling the immigration ones. Take a moment to step back, take a deep breath and really determine what you want in life, without noise and panic influencing the decision.

N and J reacted to Unidentified in please i need your urgent help and advise
No it means that both of your money is in a joint account and their for both of you to use. Sure, with big sums it might be a good idea to talk about it. But no, it's not stealing because you both have access to the money.
When you use one account to post the problem and the other account to give yourself advice it kind of makes you look a lot like a troll.

OP, you are doing a very poor job of keeping your accounts straight. Not to mention, exactly who is watching you?
For the record, I don't believe a word you are saying. But, putting that aside, let's get this striaght:
1. Your "friend" from another state sent you cash to purchase a vehicle.
2. You would be buying this vehicle in your name, not your friend's.
3. You friend for whatever reason cannot buy a vehicle in their own name in their own state, nor can they travel to your state and make the purchase. They need you as the middle man.
4. Your wife took the $8,000.
5. When you confronted her, she claimed not to know anything about it.
6. At some unknown time, she claimed there was an IRS levy against her and the IRS took exactly $8,000.
7. You had no idea about your wife's supposed $8,000 IRS debt.
8. You want to go through with this marriage.
9. You contacted the bank and they showed you that she signed for and withdrew the money.
10. You met your wife sometime last year and now you're back here on vacation.
11. She spits on you.
12. She closed a joint account all by herself.
13. You are going to give her a 2nd chance.
14. You created a 2nd account and are chiming in with advice for yourself from yourself from your 1st account.

Begs the question why couldn't the owner of the money do this for themselves rather than bringing in a middle man?
It's a joint account so she can take it out if she wants to. No permission needed.
If you came on a visitor visa did you know her before getting here? How long for?
Maybe she is considering it as payment for getting you your green card. Uscis may look at the joint account and consider it this way as well.

What kind of debt you have in US since you are supposed to prove that you are able to fund your US trip on Tourist visa?
And where did you get the 8000 usd from?

It seems the OP has multiple accounts and forgot which one they first posted from and wrote a "follow up" from a 2nd account, which I caught but they quickly edited. Can a moderator look into this please?
TBoneTX?
Happy Chic?

N and J reacted to Anitafeliz in Conflicting information across VJ guides, wanting to prepare for the NVC process and I'm puzzled
Well in VJ website defence you do realize that the government changes procedures and updates forms....maybe what you found were old directions. Especially since you state 2 to 3 years back. Everything on here is moderated and if its misimformend im certain its corrected. The opinions you get are mostly from people going through what your going through whom are mostly sharing what they did. Dont forget each country has a way to handle things as well as requirements whether the are high fraud, low fraud or mena countries.
If you are so unhappy with VJ website for the mis information i would not use any of it or hire an immigration attorney whos up to date with laws...most people use VJ because they cannot afford an attorney.
good luck with your journey

N and J reacted to LionessDeon in This is NOT about US visa. But I want to about HK
Shouldn't a doctor make that decision? I would think the condition of the mother and the pregnancy should be taken into consideration.
Otherwise u can contact the airline or google them to find out.

N and J reacted to Loki_Go in I130 no confirmation received
IMO OP needs to do a lot of reading instead of trying to fill in the blanks by asking questions here. If it's too much to try to sort I'd recommend hiring a lawyer... it doesn't sound like OP is thorough enough to submit the package on his own, which is fine, we're all different sorts of people.

N and J reacted to Valor in Rfe on AOS I NEEED HELP :(
Your answer was very rude.
People are giving you different opinions based on the subject you provided but not based on your personal information. We DON'T know you so we have no idea what situations you are and are not aware of. He was right, just because your father-in-law is retired doesn't mean he doesn't need to file taxes. There are many different scenarios and not everyone knows them. You are not paying us here to give you suggestions so STOP BEING BOSSY!

N and J reacted to kris&me in Rfe on AOS I NEEED HELP :(
no, u don't have to make out tax returns if you make under 10,000 but your emplyer will be taking out for all taxes and to get any of that back, you fill out simple 1040 EZ form / even my retirement money withheld federal taxes
immmigration will accept the workshop page for social security income that shows whether you have to pay taxes on it or not
your father in law can send that in explaining he does not owe taxes on it and does not have to file
but they only accept half of SS income for immigration
everyone here, take a step back and and try to help
and you must stop the rudeness / we know you are frustrated and scared but getting abusive with us doen't help your situation

N and J reacted to kris&me in Filing I-129f while stationed overseas
What address is listed in the US with the military
He should have one
Where will he live when he returns to the US
that is the address for him to use even if he is staying in the military address
his senior officer can help in this process
so many in the military marry while in service that the military has special programs to help

N and J reacted to Harpa Timsah in Should we "pretend this never happened"?
I would put the original date and then explain this all one a separate sheet. Since CBP let you in the second time, you were inspected and legally admitted (or paroled) and your AOS will be the same.
-
N and J reacted to quesma in Should we "pretend this never happened"?
Never lie to USCIS. Never. Remember that the CPB officials let you in, its not that you crossed the barbed wire on the border. Like Harpa said, explain it on a separate sheet of paper and explain all the scenario like you did here. A complicated truthful case is better than a "fishy" clean one. And also note here that you have handwritten "single" entry on your I-94 which you can show was written by the CPB official. USCIS loves truth.
Thats my humble opinion. I would like other members of the community to shed more light.
