  1. Hey! have you seen any correlation between time differences in the following cases:

     

    K-1 application (NOA1) to Approval (NOA2)

     

    K-1 application (NOA1) to RFE

     

    what I'm trying to figure out is would an RFE come sooner or later than an approval if it makes sense.

      In both of your cases they both reach the adjudicator at the same time as they have the responsibility to review ALL the information in determining that every item is there and there are no red flags. Once a RF is found then case is Denied or RFE is issued for additional information. Usually if s RFE is asked for then the case is good to go if the RFE is returned matching the requirements need for an approval.

      Yes makes sense thank you. I thought that all cases before September 2108 were entitled to RFE’s and after that you could be denied without one.

      That is for all other visas' except K-1's.
