Since Friday, I keep refreshing my vawa application, telling myself you’ve been approved and you’re awake and not dreaming . 
 
When my ex wife, left me and filed for divorce just to try to get me deported, I thought my world was going to end . I almost gave up and wanted to move to Canada . Until, I made research and found vawa and saw that I qualified. 
 
I never knew all my years of marriage I was being abused, emotionally, psychologically and even sexually by my ex . I never knew I had all the evidence staring on my face . I came to this forum, spoke to a few fine people on here and they helped me on how to put my application together . 
 
I put all my evidence together, I never had a lawyer but I believed God was my attorney and his word would always come first . This approval means so much to me, because I’ve come a long way . 

At least, I can see my parents and siblings after almost 8 years . Thank you once again guys . I love y’all and many more testimonies shall abound here .

Just received my C31 EAD card today. It was mailed to my old address on Nov/2020 (even after I sent them 3-4 letters asking to update my address). 
So it looks like they forwarded it over to my new address. Today I received my C31 card with the issue date of 11/2020.
No updates online, nothing. The card just showed up today! 
 

I want start by thanking everyone who were there for me and answered all my questions when I knew nothing about VAWA . Stillwinning, Fedaniela, Gabriela. If I didn’t mention your name, don’t be mad at me . And most importantly Sandra . 
 
My VAWA was approved this morning. 
-September 2019 (21 months )
- No additional evidence was asked . 
 
 

Hi all- I’m a mid- Sept 3019 filer. Today I got the notice that “new card is being produced” for I360. 
 
3 PF received, no RFE.

my timeline 
I485 was pending since May 2017 (based on marriage to USC)
February 2019 filed Vawa case
March 2019 Prima Facie #1 valid for 1 year
..wait began..
March 2020 Prima Facie #2 valid for 6 months (they sent it without me asking for it)
May 2020 Status change on i360 “Card is being produced” - this was EAD c32 based on Vawa
August 2020 - status changed on i360 “We approved your petition”
October 2020 - received my Approval notice (don’t even ask, there was so much confusion with my address, the first notice got lost, I had to request the duplicate, that’s why it took so long to receive it)
January 2021 - Status i360 changed to “Correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it” - my attorney said it might be because we updated my address, and that’s how they acknowledged it
11 of March, 2021 - RFE for medical exam to be mailed in
23 March, 2021 - Medical exam results sent
18 May, 2021 - “New card is being produced” status change on i-485!🥳🥳🥳🥳
26 May, 2021 - Greencard is delivered by USPS

no interview

More evidence was never requested. I sent more evidence on my own twice - police certificates (moved 3 times), divorce papers, birth certificate.
I had I485 pending during this whole time, so I was able to renew EAD+AP the whole time (updated 3 times). I had a lawyer on my I360 but I was submitting all additional evidence on my own without letting her know. My lawyer was not doing a good job and acted not in my best interest (she tried to get those RFE's in order to charge me more, I even got a call from her assistance warning me that she is not a good lawyer and does this too all clients). I never removed her from my I360 case, but now that it is approved I am going to proceed on my own as my lawyers job (I360) is done. I do not need her help with anything else.

yes, unfortunately there is a possibility always although VAWA petitioners almost never have problems - but I wouldn't roll the dice

I believe that’s a sign of 360 approval according to this forum and my own research. Correct me if I am wrong please.

Almost 5years since I filed my i360 & i485 together.
I have finally come to the end of this journey. 
 
 
Baltimore FO: Interview was March 29th.
Timeline
i485 & i360---> July 2016
i360 approved------> Sept 2018
First EAD(long story)----> April 2019 
GC approved today
 
I believe we'll get more good news from those still waiting soon.
 
Thanks for opening this amazing support group, it's the worst thing that happened to my lawyer and the best for me 🤣. 
 
 
 

Hello Fam! I had my appointment today at 2. Everything went good. I came back home and check my status at 5:10 and... A new card is being produced!!! I'm so excited, after 4 years I'm going to be able to go back and see my family. Sadly my Grandma died due to Covid and it breaks my heart that I didn't get to see her one more time. But happy beyond measure.

so I sent my EAD for c31 renewal last week to Vermont, and today they cashed my check for the $410 fee. Well, at least I know they received everything Lol

So I just came back from Nashville were I had my interview. And I want to Thank all of you who are doing the best efforts here to help to navigate they the process and to support the folks who is going they the struggle.
All of us can imagine how stressful this process can be.
But. If you will wait and believe the great news will come soon!
I was so stressful about interview but after all I was really surprised how well it went and how fast and easy!
It took between 25 to 30 minutes.
Nothing hard or complicated.
(Of course it depends if the case) 
If you have everything you need it will fly fast you won’t even notice it! I promise!
And now. You are wonderful people!
We are in the same boat in here and supporting each other was a blessing for me!🙏🏻

I can’t believe me and my son went thru all this process and stayed strong. We were never giving up!
We had a struggles of loosing my job and sitting for 6 months with no job. Just my small savings. 
We were supposed for each other and after all our small family became even more strong!
My sweet boy! He went thru all of this like a real man!
So. I would say...just stay focused. Believe in a process and sometimes just try to relax and enjoy life no matter what. 
And the best news of getting you VAWA approved or of receiving you interview notice will come just in the right moment!

Sandra has said many times, once 360 is approved one should move out. That means your address and your Ex' should be different.
If you are still living with him that means you are planning to go there and not be honest. 
Anyway, as far as address questions go, they normally ask, your address, they might ask who you live with, they might ask if you left the abuser,etc. 
 
If you are the same person who said, you got back with your abuser husband and was wondering if you should cancel 360 and refile 485... maybe you should just file for 485 and skip the 360 because it comes with deceit. Just my opinion. 
 
I worry because lies will catch up with you. 

Hi everyone! Good news. I have my interview on May 17th, 2021!!!!! For context I got my VAWA approved back in June 2020 (filed in April, 2018) and I applied for my AOS, EAD and AP in November 2020. My lawyer told me is sooner that she expected and I'm so excited. I have to get a new medical but not sure it'll be ready for my appointment 🙃.  Has anyone had a similar experience? How long does it take to get the approval given the circumstances? Does not having my medical delay the process???

So I have updates guys.
As I posted earlier I had an interview this noon.
And after interview IO didn’t tell a result. Yes or No. That scared me so much. I couldn’t guess why they need to go thru my paperwork more deeply. Or. What could she not like in my case.
I went to the hotel very frustrated.
But in 5 hours I got a mail from USCIS and it was a card production email🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️
