I would try and get in contact with the daughter and find out what the truth is. We have a 23 year old woman with a child who "falls in love" with a 60 year old alcoholic that says he has 1 million dollars. On top of that this is his 5th wife.

Like I'm laughing at this, but you're right. The daughter could easily be older than the "new" wife. It is definitely not a situation I would wish for anyone. While I don't know the full story, and definitely don't want to sound judgmental but I have to take the daughter's side on this. I would be super defensive about my father and his assets if all of a sudden a 23 year old girl showed up as a wife!!! I would kindda freak out knowing this and while I know, love knows no boundaries, I think I would try to protect everything I can that my father (and maybe my mother in the past) have setup, saved up, and belongs to the "family". When I read these kind of stories do I realize maybe it isn't so tragical that my parents died when I was a little kid. I don't think I would handle it to positively if either my father or my mother married a 23 year old (I'm 22 at the moment and maybe that's why). Good luck with whatever this 23 year old woman decides to do.

It's fair that his daughter is handling everything regarding her father . I would be pissed off if a.23 years old.that just entered in the country as my dad's wife wants to have some business handling his money .No way,no how!

90 days is the limit not 3 months. May be relevant as he keeps saying 3 months and is a couple of days short.
Trip to Canada does not re set the 90 days. Trip home does.
General rule of thumb is to stay out as long as you were in. Guidance only.
Usually Consulates will only interview those residing in their territory.
With past history getting a B would be a long shot and complicate VWP visits.

Wow, tough situation there. Shish...just amazes me when I hear of parents like these. I can't imagine myself in a million years treating one of my kids like that...no matter what! Were the parents against your marriage in the first-place?
I applaud your self-restraint. I know it's hard to hold your tongue and keep a positive attitude in this kind of situation but just hang in there since you have nowhere else to go for now. For God's sake, once you are in a position to get out, please do. Dont wait to afford anything fancy, just somewhere to lay your head IN PEACE. Things will get better.

    Yes, you did.
We heard almost nothing about the relationship before he came, but it's pretty clear you weren't in love with him. When we make statements of resignation like alluding to the idea everyone has to settle down so it might as well be this guy...
You aren't in the frame of mind to be married. To anyone. We really do need to hear more about your thought process before he got here. The story doesn't begin with him arriving, and it looks to me like you knew it was a mistake before he came. I'm betting you went through the motions because you thought it was expected of you.
It doesn't have to be a fairy tale - ours sure is. People have a hard time believing how much intimacy we have, and I don't mean just sex but the desire to spend every waking moment with each other holding hands or with arms around each other. We're like a tangled knot when we sleep. What you said about him hugging you was so tragic. We treat animals better than that.

    OP,
I (among others) appreciate your candor; it was a good thread post.
    Question:
    Do you love him?
    and/or
Are you in love with him?
    There's a difference albeit subtle.

I recommend you see a counselor to help you sort this out. This is a serious matter and no one's life should be played with. While he is understanding now, I can imagine that once he realizes you have no feelings of intimacy towards him, he will start to change his perception of you. If you love him, then please give counseling a chance to find out the roots of your issue. This is not a simple matter of someone giving you advice. There is some deep-seated issue here that you need to confront in yourself.

I agree. Talk is cheap. You need to take action. I believe you feel he is perfect for you....yet you do not love him. You cannot force yourself to love someone.
You need to decide to get married or not. Dont drag this out. It sounds like you love your family...but not him.

I love that cinnamon bread too!!! and I even toast it and put Nutella on top it's soooo good.
But I agree with the post! I'm from Spain and we have bakeries in every corner, fresh bread every morning and afternoon, and I can't find anything similar here, and lots of people from Europe I know have coment it to me. I was looking for recipes lately and I will try to make my own. Maybe I will end buying and bread maker.
Also same issue with croissants I would eat them every morning back in my country here are not the same

Chances are slim to none. He married a US citizen, obtained a conditional green card, was denied a permanent green card due to the relationship not being real, has a child with another woman, meets you and want to get married after he is placed in deportation proceedings while having a pregnant girlfriend who can't get him a green card.

ummmmmmmmmmm...why would you fly to the US just for doctor appointments for your kids? No doctors in your home country? And how does one "accidentally" give birth? There is no way for you to adjust status, end of story.

    A few questions:
    1. Where is your home country (curious how far you're travelling)
    2. Your husband is a b1/b2 as well so why on earth are you bringing your children to the USA for medical care?
    3. Are your children with you and your husband?

You are 100% right. It boggles my mind that some people make excuses for not at least seeing the person. If you really love someone, you have to meet them before even thinking about marrying. So many on VJ are deadset against critiquing the relationship choices that people make. I think there are many obvious cases, such as this one, where the OP should be questioned a bit before proceeding.

Shouldnt you be more concerned about meeting this man and making sure he will be good husband and father for your son before being concerned about how to start the immigration process???
And then posts like this turn into "how can I adjust status without getting married?" Or "how can I remove conditions "I married in good faith" but marriage is not working... "

He/she was just "KINDLY" asking for advise...If she/he wants to cancel the petition thats on him/her...that does not mean She/he's got an attitude...no need for your "nasty breakup" comment either.

Do you want to be with a person who takes your life not seriously at all? I mean you are together for three years, you both went through the trouble of filing for K1, you quit your job, bought a ticket already for crying out loud! And she gets a cold feet now?? I am sorry, but she sounds very immature.
Probably the best bet for you is to start looking for a job in your country again and forget the whole thing.
I am not sure about "love" when her action speaks a very different tune than her words. May be she is not the marrying kind.

You think it is discrimination but I think that you want to see it. All couples must prove that their relationships are real, and Tunisia is a high-fraud country. Many straight couples have been grilled and tested, and sent for multiple interviews. It can happen. That is the thing with equality; now it can happen to you too.
Leaving without an AP automatically cancels the application. It states it very clearly on the NOA1s for the I-485. You should fire your attorney for not telling you this. Good luck.

You have been [really] patient enough for the past months. I don't have that strength to withstand hurtful words and would leave in an instant. You are the US citizen and should have the upper hand. I know you'd been through a lot with the loss of your parents, but do stay strong. I'm sure they don't want you to be in a negative situation like this.
Your husband most likely thinks you're depending on him big time. And that's why he continues to say and do hurtful things. Take care of yourself and don't allow anybody to control your mindset. I know it's easier said than done, but just think if you have a friend who is in this kind of situation, what will you advise her?
Take your lessons from this and move forward. I would also report him to USCIS if I were you. Connect with your friends from your state and ask for help. I'm sure your friends and other relatives can give you support should you need to start from scratch.

I vote fraud. No romantic relationship with you, carrying on with someone else the whole time. His lies are pretty poor, I hope you don't believe the "I am helping a sick woman" line again. And the "snooping reminds me of my home abuse and gives me panic attacks" stuff. Yeah.
As far as ICE, you can make your report to them, there is a thread in this forum on how to do it. But I am not sure you have that much evidence. Cheating by itself doesn't always mean fraud. But I would report it to clear your conscience and then move on.
Sorry for your losses. Good luck.
