  1. Your brother will never be eligible to adjust status. As in never, ever. It's the law. Period. End of story.
  2. Yes, without a doubt. I'm a Bostonian, I fly in and out of Logan constantly and 3 hours is more than enough time.
  3. Another reason why the CR1/IR1 is the superior visa. The fees for a K-1 are astronomical.
  4. Absolutely this. There is no way I would ever reschedule and put naturalization in jeopardy. No trip is worth the risk.
  5. A green card is for living in the U.S., for all intents and purposes you have not done that. In order to qualify for citizenship, it's like everyone else said, 4 years and one day- BUT you MUST spend the majority those 4 years here in the U.S., no more long absences. Best of luck.
  6. This is a DIY site, the majority of us have done the entire process on our own, up to and including naturalization. As long as you have a straightforward case, no need for an attorney. There are guides at the top of the page and you can ask questions at any time. Best of luck.
  7. If you sign the marriage contract when you get engaged, you have no choice but to file a CR-1. In Islam, signing that contract makes you religiously married, which in the eyes of immigration (USCIS) makes you legally married. Ask me how I know? I went through the process with my husband. Trust me. Doesn't matter if it's arranged, it's the cultural norm.
  8. Yup. Obviously OP has no clue that a B visa and a tourist visa are one in the same.
  9. Please explain why you think you are the one to "approve" their visas? All B2 visa applications and approvals/denials are handled by the consulate. You don't have a thing to do with any of it.
  10. I find it hard to believe he failed the test a full 3 months after the last time he smoked. It doesn't sound like he's being honest with you.
  11. Yes, tell your fiancé to stop smoking weed so he can pass his drug test a year from now. Literally, the only solution.
  12. Again, you cannot move to the U'S using a non-immigrant visa.
  13. Much of the advice in your answer isn't correct. If you do not know how to correctly answer someone, please don't guess, as you can cause more harm than good.
  14. No. Her visa expires the moment she sets foot in the U.S., the k-1 is a single entry visa.
  15. Much easier to renew it while you're still in Canada.
  16. Which COUNTRY are you from, not continent. How many days did they give you to stay when you entered the U.S and did you stay longer than they said you could stay?( visa expiration isn't the same thing) If you cannot answer that, no one can help you. It's easy to understand.
  17. Why would you allow your mother to opt out of getting insurance? Who do you think will pay for her medical bills when she gets sick? She already IS sick, she has diabetes. Do you understand how expensive health v=costs are in this country, let alone her?
  18. If it were my parents, I would beg, borrow and steal to make sure they were both here legally. Or as @Boiler suggested, max out my credit cards.
  19. Why ask for advice and then attack everyone who is trying to help? It isn't our fault that you did not understand what you were supposed to do, or that you asked the wrong question. And it's especially not our fault that doctors charge what they charge or that we don't have a specific list of civil surgeons and their exact fees.
  20. Working in the U.S in any capacity while here with a visitor visa, is illegal. Remote work COUNTS!
