  1. No one can tell you if they'll be approved. No one. Islamabad is one of the most difficult consulates to obtain a visa from due the the high incidence of fraud, you can blame those who have gone before you from Pakistan. Count on extended administrative processing at bare minimum.
  2. Entering the U.S with the INTENT to STAY and adjust status is illegal and will result in a permanent ban. Your post here alone, proves intent.
  3. Um, a green card is for LIVING in the United States.
  4. Just because he isn't registered, does not mean he isn't supposed to be registered. This is not a DIY case by any stretch of the imagination.
  5. I've never heard of a single person being asked this question.
  6. And under this sheriff, a denial would NOT be a chance I would be willing to take by "spontaneously" adjusting status. Especially from a high fraud country. Nope, no way. Not me.
  7. CR1 is the far superior visa, especially in a high fraud country.
  8. I don't think anyone knows the actual criteria and it probably changes often.
  9. Don't send anything you've already included.
  10. When my mother in-law received her B2, it was only for 5 years.
  11. Timeline between CR1 and K-1 is negligible. CR1 is a far superior and a far less expensive option.
  12. Just because you weren't told about AP, doesn't mean there isn't AP. Everyone goes through AP of some kind.
  13. CR1, especially from such a high fraud country.
  14. Not a chance I would be willing to take with the current political climate and administration.
  15. You need a valid reason for expedite and aging out isn't a valid reason.
  16. I absolutely agree. I attended my husband's interview and the IO asked him where I was (I was in the waiting room). The IO came and introduced himself to me, I'm 100% positive he was verifying that I was physically there.
  17. Looking like someone does not establish paternity.
  18. Self deportation would be best for those still here without status. This administration isn't screwing around and being deported is far worse than leaving on their own. Either way, not a DIY case.
  19. It may move the needle, or it could force them into making a decision when AP (background checks) have not been completed forcing them to deny your case. WoM is a double-edged sword.
  20. If your son's life really depends on getting treatment in the U.S., as a mother she should absofreakinglutely allow you to bring him on your own to get treated. It's absurd to think that you would allow your son to suffer because you and your wife don't seem to think you're capable of caring for him. If it's really that urgent, you should do everything in your power to help him, even if it means his mom can't come with him. And even with the strongest of ties to Morocco, the chances of her getting a B2 are slim to none. You're attacking the people who you came to asking for help, if you don't want to listen, that's you're prerogative BUT don't bite the hand that feeds you. Just saying'.
  21. She should have come back after her mom passed, it's been two years. When did her green card actually expire?
