Second of all, even if she feels used, it doesn't change anything. She can't have him deported. They proved they had a genuine relationship, he got his green card and now he can remove conditions without her. Divorce and move on.

That is our culture! Our parents and grandparents went this route.They didnt sign any papers or do any documentation. Yet they valued and respected their marriages and their marriages lasted long too... Signing documents is just COSMETIC!

I don't know if there is already a rule against this but it would be nice if there was some kind of requirement that couples can't share an account. Right now there's an account claiming to belong to a couple. The male in that couple posts rude comments and the woman shortly comes on later pretty much saying "Well I didn't write it so I'm not going to apologize for it" and the guy just continues. There is no way of confirming it's two people writing and it feels like it could might as well just being the same person one moment being completely rude and then when confronted just say "Well, I didn't write it..."

Perhaps I forgot because we're exhausted after being in this process for 17 MONTHS and I haven't seen the person I love for NINE MONTHS. Can you understand that???
I blame the US government for having such a ridiculous process that it takes a year or longer for two MARRIED people that love each other to be together. I blame the US government for getting all our papers at the NVC phase and not doing anything with them, so we basically had to fight with NVC for eight months and get our Senator involved to get case complete from NVC. I blame the US government for giving us a 221(g) at the time of my interview, which it took us 15 months to get to, and then when we send in our response, WITH a copy of the 221(g) that had our case number on it, they send us an email wanting even more. I DON'T blame them because I FORGOT to write our case number, that's on me, but what I do ask of the US government is to think a little outside the box and be a little flexible. We've jumped hoop after hoop for them for 17 months and they can't find which of three cases these papers belong to???
17 months in this process, we haven't seen each other for nine months and then you come with your attitude saying we can't be bothered.... Do me a favor, get a dictionary or use google and look up the words compassion, understanding, sympathy. These are all traits that make us into good human beings and it's certainly traits that belong in a SUPPORT FORUM.
