Imagine marrying someone you don't even get along with after spending this minimal time together.  Why?

Definitely things should/ could have been handled differently from the start, especially with regards to the kids. But on the other hand, she’s an adult and she knew what she was getting into. And she should be acting like the adult she is now.
I know people are going to tell me she might be in cultural shock and whatnot and again, I do understand that, but she’s the adult and hopefully she knows how to manage big emotions. Kids don’t. You’re the father and should protect and advocate for them. 

I think everybody is still trying to get used to the situation, it is a big change for everyone. I can only imagine the tension in the house..
 
Also, 'tampo' might play a part here as well? Have you seen more behavior like that? You mention that she has threatened to leave before and also did it when you were visiting with the kids, that is not a safe feeling for the kids, why would they feel like they have to build a relationship with somebody who shows this type of behavior? 

So how does he plan on becoming a citizen if he doesn't marry you?

Sweet!!!!! The passport people finally came to their senses and accepted the swedish papers I sent in to prove I have sole custody! It sure took them time but today I got a tracking number and the passport is on its way!

When a K1 is returned it's basically dead.
If they only wanted additional paperwork they wouldn't send the case back they would just let you send in the missing documents.

What about all the people that wait 7-8 months on their Noa2 and when they get it have no idea what to do next... Why not use them months and read????? Drives me bonkers!!

We technically can too but Americans are very ####### about their documents lol so even though they are very much valid it just saves a lot of time and hassle to always get one with a current address. It's small things like this I wish I had asked before I moved!
Btw Georgia16 , get your kids shot record in English from your doctor as a back up! And make sure your state doesn't have other requirements for attending school. Some states ask for more shots than immigration does...

The 7-10 days is within the US. Expect it to take a while longer to Egypt...

Make an infopass at your local office prior to the interview date and have a talk with them. To just show up at a random office on a day and say "hey, we were scheduled in WA but want the interview here today instead" will probably not go down well.

No I don't have a link on that. The US doesn't care how your husband plans on paying child support in Russia. Now if Russia cares I wouldn't know..

I mean I always thought it depended on where the beneficiary lived so my spontaneous thought is that she'd do it all in Canada...but like I said I've never seen th scenario so I'm curious.
Just remember she might be stuck in Germany for a while after the interview waiting for the visa.
