There are LPRs who come here and think they can sponsor parents.  It happens. In the OP's original post, no mention was made regarding "after applying for citizenship".........so naturally,  the appropriate response was to give him/her accurate information based on what was posted........

It depends on what health issue. Most of the applicant let say 80% will go through the sputum test, this is in the Philippines based on my experience too. My mom went back 3 consecutive days to collect sputum. The smear was negative but she need to wait til January 29 for the culture result. Why did she do all this. They saw a scar or abnormality on the xray. They want to make sure what that is. Ex. TB if postive they will treat her there. Negative they will continue the process which is approving his medical requirements to bring to the interview.

thank you. I do know that. I wrote in my post I plan to bring my parents after I do my own citizenship. That is the reason I will file for citizenship. I really don't need for myself, I am just fine being permanent resident

I just want to plan ahead and figure out things

I have no idea what "one document" shows a bona fide marriage + current marital union. Normally one would submit several different types of documentation for that requirement.

Assuming you meet the requirements under 5 years, apply under that.

No disadvantage. Processing time is the same. Do it "by yourself."

Exactly. Others are so quick to jump in and tell you what you can not do. I knew that you meant after you become US Citizen. Good luck!

It has come in the interview as part of the the Public Charge issue.

More common is that people file, spend the money and then either just before or just after the Parents get here suddenly they think of Health Insurance, where they get it from, how they will afford it.

Should be part of the initial consideration. If they have loads of money or have work lined up with benefits not so much an issue.

Once you are a citizen and file for parents it doesn’t matter what nationality they use, as IR category they do not have priority dates like other family sponsor categories. It is those ones where nationality may matter.

EAD in hand, it is much prettier than the post-student EAD.
I already had SSN, so no need to do that. I want to renew my license that expired with visa on sept 19, but I think I will wait for green card, because EAD is valid only 1 year, therefore my license would too. I can wait 1 more week,.
INTERVIEW in 3 DAYS! Tuesday! I go back and forward from being nervous and not. hubby is not nervous at all.

when I came to grad school, I had a direct deposit for 2 years, and could never get a credit card because I had no credit history, and I had no credit history because I had no credit card!
some international friends witch the same bank & direct deposit that me got it approved with their debit card. they told me at chase, they changed the rules in between them and me. I didn't really care much about the CC, but wanted to get some credit history since I was going to be here for 2-3 years.
Why was it useful back then? because I had to be on prepaid phone for 2 years that was much more expensive than a plan. no plan with no credit history.
Now, we are saving money for a house down payment. hubby gave our SSN to the loan guy, and my income was useless to our household income because of no credit history.
hubby got rid of all his credit cards when he had a big debt to pay when the crisis in 2008. So I couldn't get an additional to get credit history that way either.
chase manager suggested me to apply to a capital one with a $300 limit. they approved everybody, and I could cancel it in 6 months or a year, but that would help me start a history. I've had it for 6 months. hopefully in a few months, when we have saved enough, we can use both incomes for a better deal on the house.

RFEs seems to be coming between day 18-30, independently of bio
things have mostly be coming close to the order we filed, so I would guess interview notice order would start with early august filers:
Name - waiting since (bio date)
    ASG04 - august, 14
    Shranjan84 - august, 20
    jessie05 - august, 22
    Kin&Gesner - august, 31
    Abila - august, 31
    then probably september bio people
