    Meaning what?
I like to ignore the negative things you oldies constantly post about others...but If you are insinuating something about me it is not necessary to write things in code I am well aware of the way you like to have fun at others expense. I am surprised at how childish you do things. I see this kind of play at my middle schooler's recess when I VOLUNTEER.
Just please do me a favor and put me on your ignore list if you think I am a part of "Frick and Frack"
In other words if you were referring to me I just called you on it and...Pi** Off.
If I am wrong then forgive my assumptions...

Why in heavens would this raise further suspicions? Changes in processing times happen all the time. They increase, sometimes they decrease, sometimes they even stay the same - but not very often. Every one who has ever been through any of the stages of the immigration processes will tell you this.
There are many things that affect the time frames involved from the volume of petitions received to what is the priority at the time. Please remember that all of the service centers handle many other types of petitions and applications than just the spousal and family based ones. Family based petitions is one of the smaller percentage of the actual work done by USCIS.
USCIS generally tends to focus its personal in any given service center on the petitions and applications which have the most petitions waiting or back-logged. Some petitions have a deadline date involved and there can be a sudden influx of petitions trying to arrive before the deadline. USCIS doesn't seem to work on all petition types at all times - they tend to work on getting the backlog reduced in one area, and then move on to another type of petition. When a service center is working on, for example, Adjustment of Status requests, then the K-1 and the CR-1 petitions get put on the back burner while agents focus on AOS. The time frames for processing K-1s and CR-1s then change to reflect that these petitions are beginning to accumulate, and that USCIS won't be working on those types of petitions until after they catch up with the back log on the AOS petitions in several weeks. The expected time for processing those petitions then increases. When the service center then starts processing IR-1 petitions, the time frame on them will decrease as they start to make headway into the backlog.
There really is no conspiracy and no reason to be suspicious. When you have been around the immigration process as long as I have, you will realize that nothing is carved in stone time wise. USCIS works at their own pace, is understaffed and overworked, and nothing more than that.

    Listen
What ever deal you and your other VJ poster friend have against ken**rd is not my business and I have stayed out of it. It does not take a rocket scientist to see how you guys play...
Maybe he just does not have a clue...
I dont know what is the problem but I can see he has more maturity to ignore you and your friend nagi? (horse rear) childish ways of scr*wing with him in the game thread.
If you think I will accept being refereed to anything but with respect on here, by being ridiculed or u will include me in your innuendos and I not speak up...then you have erred.
    Lets not play innocent.
It is not paranoia. And not WILD assumptions. I just wanted to let you and you friend know not to f*** with me.
If i assumed wrong I have already apologized.
I would like to avoid any misunderstandings in the future.

This has nothing to do with Muslims.
He might not be muslim even. I am a muslim and my wife tells me I am the best ever she knewn all her life. and real muslim should not drink.
But we are here to help this lady going through this time. I would appreciate if moderator remove these negative/racist comments.
Mona, you are on the right path. just make sure he does not get his 10 year GC by withdrawing the jonit application.
    Here is the process:
If the application withdrawn, then he needs to file by himself(if he ever know it was withdrawn) with a waiver of your signature(and for the waiver to be accepted he needs to have a divorce certificate in his hands and documents proving he did not marry just for GC and the seperation was for other legitimate reasons). and then he needs right away to file by him self
If you withdraw the application, he DID NOT file a single with a waiver(becuase he did not know you waithdraw or so). this mean he might pass his 90 days period to remove his condition(to remove condition he should file 90 days before the 2nd anniversary of his GC , or at anytime if filing with a waiver). in this case his residency is terminated automatically unless he can prove it was out of control he did not file on time.
Glad you made an INFOPASS to get this under control. I apologize if he was a muslim, becuase he did nothing but adding one more wound to us.
Please keep updating us. Thank you.

It's really not "whiny BS" at all. It actually worked just like you say - moderator discretion. The moderators were alerted (by more than one person it seems). Mods have asked members to alert them to problems, rather than take it upon themselves and start a flame-fest.
As for your pooh-fling about women being ashamed of their bodies (including your sideways swipe about a burkha) - well there you go again. Trying to deflect bad behavior onto people who would just like to use the site without reading or seeing degrading sexism, bigotry or any other kind of intolerance.

This is an IMMIGRATION site. What purpose do those pictures serve? Is there some hidden immigration message I'm missing? Just because you find it acceptable doesn't mean everyone does. It has nothing to do with how women feel about "their bodies" but instead what they feel they should be confronted with on an immigration site. If we wanted to look at porn, we'd go looking for it. I come here to give and receive immigration advice first and foremost. Then I might read news stories and whatever else, but I can tell you "look at porn" isn't on my list of reasons for coming to VJ, and I'm confused about why you come here for that... but hopefully you can get your fix elsewhere. I suggest Google.

Hello and Thank you in advance for reading and answering....
Followed the guides (Hopefully) and sent only what was requested.
Now have much more evidence and was wondering with all this wait time....has anyone sent more evidence to USISC? Before NOA2.
I recall reading that sometimes files are not even looked at in some cases when the beneficiary is in interviewed in CASA...was just thinking....
Any advice from personal experiences? Positive ideas to bounce off me?

Shoot Em Straight reacted to Harpa Timsah in Married for love, barred for life??
I can tell you some things.
She is not eligible to adjust status in the US because she arrived on a K-1 visa and can only adjust based on current marriage to the petitioner. So you theoretically could file I-130 for her, which is the first step in obtaining a spousal visa, but she would have to leave the country and by doing so she would incur a 10-year ban for overstaying. You would then have to file a hardship waiver and get it approved for her to come back (not an easy task). Filing an I-130 by itself does not give any legal benefit (I am not sure what you think it does, or why you bring up DCF... you don't live in her country).
I can't say much about her asylum case, but it would help for advice to know what country she is from. USCIS does not like frivolous asylum cases AT ALL, so if she just filed based on some random story but really she was just trying to buy time in the US, then she will have trouble.
It sounds from the circumstances that a VAWA claim would have been much more appropriate in her case than an asylum case.
You will also have to figure out how she has been working. Is she ever claimed to be a US Citizen to get her job, then she is toast.
    What country is she from?

A US passport is for a US Citizen. You are not a US Citizen. You are a Permanent Resident in the US. You are a Canadian Citizen. You renew your Canadian passport if you want to travel abroad.
It is important that you understand that you are not a US CItizen, because if you every claim to be a citizen, on a US work eligibility form, or by voting or serving on a jury, you will be banned from the US for life. You are a permanent resident.

I think it's best to marry and have both the commitment of marriage and the opportunity to stay together as man and wife some significant time prior to the visa interview. Trying to take the fiance visa route actually magnifies most of your red flags. The idea is to show a real relationship, not avoid needing a divorce if the visa is ultimately denied. You've got time to do extensive reading and preparation, so do it. Ultimately what path to take is up to you.
I'm not an expert on an Orfi marriage but you'll want to look into whether having one makes you too married for a fiance visa anyway.
