  1. There's no fast way to correct this!

First: never lie or miss-lead any official in this process, it will haunt you!

Second: File formal papers to legal adoption the child, there is no way around the law!

  2. I downloaded DS-230 document from this site: http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/81807.pdf

On top of the document it says "EXPIRES: 04/30/2012"

I could not find any other version of document which has expire date beyond this above document's expire date.

Can I still use this document and fill it out? YES Will NVC accept this document when my application is reached to their office in near future? YES

  3. I would like to ask how can I contact the US Department of State located in China? Can i ask anyone who can provide me the e-mail address of the US Department of State located in China? Or the e-mail address of the American Citizen Services of China? This is in connection to my problem obtaining a Chinese Police Clearance that i need for my US visa process. Thank you so much!

Contact info for U.S. Embassy in China here

seems like in China you go to the Local Police department to apply and then once you receive you need to get it translated! Source here

  7. I included only 8 photos

    2 before wedding

    4 Wedding photos

    2 after wedding photos

None had date stamps, not a problem!

I put the photos in a plastic sandwich bag and wrote on the back of each photo what was going on, I then stapled it to a piece of paper labeled photos!

    Good luck

  8. QUESTIONS:

    1) This is really up to you, I really like your story that you wrote here on VJ witch is great on a additional sheet of paper!

    2) Proof of a bona fide relationship is best with proof of Face-Time, Photos are the best, then airline tickets, passport stamps, phone records, Emails, etc!

    3) looks good, just remember that if you send a photocopy of your Birth certificate to include both front and back!

Good Luck on your journey

  9. 80%. And yes, I do, I pay a lot of taxes (over 30% of my paycheck actually).

This could be an interesting discussion if people stopped being so "on the rag" about the US.

You need real Tax advice If you are paying over 30% of your paycheck to taxes with children! :help:

Rich like mitt Romney : 15%

Work like me (Married filing single without kids) 25%

You with spouse and kids: 30%

  10. As an American I can say you're welcome to go somewhere else if you're just going to b!tch about the country you're so desperately seeking to either come to or bring a spouse to.

You know, I've been seeing a lot of America bashing threads recently on this board. I know everyone is frustrated with our immigration process -- I am too (and I'm American by birth-- family has been here for at least 500 years, no lie). However, if all you guys can do it talk ####### about the country you're either trying to move to or are trying to bring your spouse to, why don't you look into another country??? You don't HAVE to deal with "pigheaded Americans" or our "lack of health care" or "snide remarks." No one is holding a gun to your head and saying "MOVE TO AMERICA." So.... calm down. Stop bashing the US. Seriously. It's getting really old.

    I salute you!!
