    It means they are working on your case. Every time they touch t, open it, update information the date will update. It's not either positive or negative it's progress. When they are done it should change to READY then Issued.

    What do you mean case just left January 9th? Did you expedite or get Interview letter? If not your case remains at NVC until a interview is scheduled by NVC. And Manila is about at 9 to 12 months wait after DQ.

    Ya'll IL's are dropping for February interviews for CR/IR someone with DQ September 1, 2021 just got there's a few minutes ago. I know they stopped at Jul 28, 2021 in October so looks like they are covering a few months.

    Sibling petition is 13 to 15 years. It's faster for ur parents to petition your brother when they arrive. You are US citizen correct. It's about 3 years for parents from Lagos to here.

    have you submitted the correct. Regardless when you submit it as long as you have it at interview. Her location really doesn't matter. As long as you submitted proof you met up before you filed. Don;t get hung up on the small stuff. If not ready for NVC stage take to interview.

    well none of this is relevant to you. What visa category are you? Every waits the same time to be reviewed waiting for interview is embassy specific. I was giving you the wait time for IR/CR for Lagos. They are at July 28, 2021 DQ. For Case Review they are on Nov. 11. It's usually a 6 week walk from last submission.     So you will have amended marriage certificate for NVC and upload that and if asked at interview you can explain reason to amend.

    Click on Immigration timelines and click to edit timeline. Or on your profile click on Timeline and fill it out. Have you already submitted all your documents to NVC and you are just waiting for review. Hard to know where you are in process but know right now it's 20 month wait after DQ for interview.

    No and if you overstay your visit you will get a Ban and not be able to Immigrant so make sure you leave on time.

    1. Your first choice is fraud if you get married and still continue with a K1 path. You cant do that. You would have to withdraw the K1 and file the CR1. 2. getting married via zoom and filing CR1 is fine. 3. No need for a lawyer the process is very easy. But why not stay the K1 path especially with your embassy not having a backlog you probably be here a year sooner.

    You do see the post is from March of 2021. Nigeria is still on July 28, 2021 for IR/CR they stopped there at last IL scheduling in October. Hasn't been IL's since.

    So they got all documents accepted over a year ago. They didn't get DQ'd. Most filers still get DQ'd with the FE note they don;t meet income guidelines and need a joint sponsor. That's a heads up they may need for interview and be prepared. But if they didn't get DQ they need to go through the steps of requesting to add a joint sponsor then they upload each document under they own PDF tab.

    Are you already DQ'd. For NVC the forms with all the pages and W2/1099 suffices. All you want is to be DQ'd For Nigeria current it's a 18 month wait from DQ. so you could very well be in Tax year 2022 to bring to interview.

    So you are adjusting his status which means he can not leave. You are a green card holder which means overstays are not forgiven for spouse. So ditch the I-485. You only file the I-130 for consulate interview. He can not overstay his visa.

    If u have final divorce decree then u need to call USCIS or get online talk to EMMA and update ur petition to divorce waiver. They will tell u where to mail a copy of ur decree. But u need to change ur petition to divorce waiver. Not withdraw. Not start all over.

    The speed of ur case once it got to NVC and DQ'd had everything to do with ur Embassy. The reason many are waiting 2,3,4 years is not because of lack of lawyer but because their embassy is severely backlogged. But congratulations to you.
