  1. Chancy, I have another question, will our CR-1 (Conditional) visa category automatically change to an IR-1 visa since our 2-year anniversary will be in 4 days and our interview will be on March 8, 2023 or do I need to do something to change it.
  2. I went to the link you provided ( https://ph.usembassy.gov/visa-update-consular-operations-visas-as-of-june-2022/) and it only talks about ir-1 visa immediate relatives not cr-1 visa. "Immigrant Visa (IV): The Embassy is processing immigrant visas across all categories. However, with significant backlogs in most categories, wait times for interviews are lengthy for all but immediate relatives (IR-1 through IR-5). It is not possible to provide precise wait times as staffing and local conditions affect capacity and scheduling. As of May 31, 2022, most IR visa cases being scheduled for interview were documentarily complete at the National Visa Center in March 2022. Most K visa cases being scheduled were documentarily complete in April 2022. Most current employment-based cases being scheduled were documentarily complete in March 2022. Most current family preference cases are approved expedite cases that were documentarily complete in January 2021." I will just have to be patient I guess.
  3. Ok Chancy thank you very much, now I can relax a little for now. Hopefully will hear something soon.
  4. Chancy, you said you received your interview letter 3 weeks after DQ? When was this? I ask because it has been 2 months since our DQ email
  5. We received our email notice on November 10, 2022, NVC Notice regarding your Immigrant Visa Case becoming Documentarily Qualified. How long is the wait for an interview date to be set/granted for Manila Philippines? Both my wife and I are stressing out about this, we thought that she would be here in the U.S. already. We have been married almost 2 years now. If it goes beyond our 2-year mark, does it automatically switch to an IR-1 instead of the CR-1?
  6. What did it say? Did you get your case number and reciept number?
  7. I was told if I don't hear from NVC within 8 weeks to contact them. If I were you, I would try to contact them (nothing ventured nothing gained)😎
  8. Check the embassy guide on the NVC site to see if they are up and running or call the embassy to find out what the delay is.
  9. Ontarkie thanks for editing/removing the attachment I thought all personal info was blacked out.
  10. Yes: The above petition has been approved. As the petitioner requests, we have sent the petition to the U.S. Department of State National Visa Center (NVC), 32 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth, NH 03801-2909. The NVC processes all approved immigrant visa petitions that need consular action, including the collection of necessary forms and documents. It also determines which consular post is appropriate to complete visa processing. The NVC will then transfer the approved petition to the consular post once processing has been completed and an interview has been scheduled at the Embassy or Consulate. The NVC will contact the beneficiary of this petition with further information about immigrant visa processing steps. You should allow a minimum of 45 days for U.S. Department of State processing before contacting the NVC. If you have not received any correspondence from NVC within 45 days, you may contact the NVC at https://nvc.state.gov/inquiry. For more information about NVC processing, please visit https://nvc.state.gov. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A VISA AND MAY NOT BE USED IN PLACE OF A VISA. The approval of this visa petition does not in itself grant any immigration status and does not guarantee that the alien beneficiary will subsequently be found to be eligible for a visa, for admission to the United States, or for an extension, change, or adjustment of status. NOTICE: Although this application or petition has been approved, USCIS and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security reserve the right to verify this information before and/or after making a decision on your case so we can ensure that you have complied with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and other legal authorities. We may review public information and records, contact others by mail, the internet or phone, conduct site inspections of businesses and residences, or use other methods of verification. We will use the information obtained to determine whether you are eligible for the benefit you seek. If we find any derogatory information, we will follow the law in determining whether to provide you (and the legal representative listed on your Form G-28, if you submitted one) an opportunity to address that information before we make a formal decision on your case or start proceedings
  11. My i-130 was approved and the time limit for the NVC to send their letter is 45 days, what is the usual timelines that it takes people to hear from the NVC?
