  4. You can view my spreadsheet Case Complete to Interview Spreadsheet To update your interview date go here. Case Complete to Interview Form For New people to the thread please go Case Complete to Interview Form and input your information in the form and it will be added to the form. Everyone should be clicking on the Portal tab to visit the information for their country. If nothing is there or information needs updating. Update or add. Its up to all of us to keep this information current, relevant and helpful to others. Special Note: Different consulates or embassies have strict guidelines as to what type of bags/purses/cellphones etc can be carried in. And whether they provide any lockers (or not) for temp storage. As many travel from far away (by air/train/cars, one needs to specially know what they will not be able to take inside the consulate and where to store their personal belongings. Here are some FAQ and other tidbits that may be useful to you. Be sure to visit your countries portal and click on the Consular Information and also Consular reviews. FAQ How long after Documentarily Qualified (DQ'd) will I get an interview? With the worldwide pandemic this no longer is a timing thing. The embassies/NVC have been trying their best to fill in dates . There's no certain time any month. With F category being banned and now can be scheduled and K1's that were put aside backlogs for all embassies are great. So just watch your countries forum for DQ dates being scheduled and report back and keep us all up to date also Do I have to call for my interview date? You will get a Interview Letter when scheduled so just be sure to watch if you know they are scheduling for your DQ date. I need to change our interview date what do I do? Once you receive your interview date track your casefile. Call NVC ask when your casefile left. Then contact your embassy (email is best) and ask to be rescheduled later, earlier just ask. What do I need to bring to interview? When you receive your P4 Letter (Interview letter) it will have your personalized checklist of things to bring or not. It has been suggested because things have been lost between NVC and embassy to bring everything (Originals) to the interview so if they don't have at embassy you aren't delayed. It's up to you. It doesn't happen much but it does happen. How to expedite at NVC? It only works about 50% of the time when you tick the box on the DS-260. As soon as you have your SSN you may work. Your passport visa and the immigration stamp is the equivalent of your green card. Thank you Sukie in NY @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ For those wanting to know how to write an expedite letter to NVC. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Thank you NinPran's for showing us how your successful expedite was done. I have revised abit the expedite request but she did all the work. EXPEDITE at NVC How to start a expedite: Send your NVC expedite request in the form of an email to nvcexpedite@state.gov. An email request is specifically the only way to submit the NVC expedite request. Subject Line: Expedite Request /Case # First paragraph: Tell them who the Petitioner is and the Beneficiary Introduce yourself, name, date of birth, and where you reside. Same thing for the beneficiary. Second Paragraph: Reason/s for the expedite State the reason why your case needs to be expedited. Be specific. The more you can demonstrate the hardship (mental, financial, health wise) on the petitioner the better. Also include attachments of Proof Now plead your case. Asking for their approval for your request. Now is time to really use this COVID to your advantage. You might be supporting two households that’s financial hardship. You may be depressed now seeing doctor or therapist get a letter stating that.
  5. The information is very accurate. Many of us are on various groups on Facebook and the people who are waiting report back to us. This is very true. And just as a correct. There is nothing pasted in your passport at the Port of Entry. You get a 551 stamp (temp green card). Pakistan right now is the most backlogged embassy on the planet so any embassy would be better. So once your case gets to NVC request through Public Inquiry form at NVC a transfer of your case to the country you reside in now and upload your residency permit.card and your case is transferred.
  6. You didn't mention how many children you have but just as a financial aspect of how much you need to be making to meet the guidelines here is the chart.
  7. Yes there are online weddings that you can do apart anywhere in the world, but you still have to meet in person before you file. Usually the folks who do this are those that come from countries where getting married is very difficult. The main thing for you is to meet and then decide what you want to do. The likelihood of a single young person from a 3rd world country from Africa getting a visitor visa to come see a BF/GF is highly unlikely. But you won;t know if you don;t apply. if that's what you want to do. I gather that you can;t travel because you don;t have a passport and you can;t get a passport with delinquent child support correct? Get that fix for your sake. Immigration does not like back child support issues and tax issues.
  8. Just wanted to let everyone know since OP hasn't come back to update. They were Approved and he entered US. Visa Received : 2022-01-28 US Entry : 2022-03-01
  9. Hey Ya'll it's me and I really would love for everyone here who aren't on the spreadsheet (yes I still update it with the few people who remember to do so). With so many countries now that split off and started their own threads the info isn't readily there. So please if you haven't yet please fill in the form and let us know your DQ date. If you got Interview letter let us know when that happened and your interview date. This does help others from your country to go to one place and see what's up. Also remember to also keep your timeline updated with all your dates so the Visajourney stats can be estimated and accurate. Thanks again to everyone. 10. Because being land locked and can't travel can be a big issue. Parents get sick, die, Family members need help. I have a close friend immigrated here he waiting for his Advance Parole. Parents died like 8 months apart it took 15 months year to get his AP and EAD card. And this was before COVID. It happens. Some folk still have personal business to attend to. Some need to still fulfill their job requirements to be ab;e to truly immigrate. Many reasons why people need to travel and can't wait 6 months and such. But to expect to be here in 9 months I doubt you would be done at USCIS by then. Depends on your service center and California just posted today 16 months for K1. And depending on your country you got a wait to start processing and who knows how far out your calendar is.
  11. By the way what does your status say online for your case? Still Interview scheduled or what? It's a glitch just like when you get approved for their I-751 it will say Card in Production. Then a few days later it will say you are approved. They are ### backwards oh well.
  12. Oh memories I so remember those days back in 2020. I remember when we sent in passport application in July 2020 and then the backlog was like 6 to 8 months and it took 3 weeks. I was like no way a passport is in the mail already. wooowhoooo. My nerves couldn't take these delays now. Lord now way. Congratulations Crazy Cat.
  13. It could be back then they didn't give out the IIN so you can't log in now they send it all but you can;t do anything. Also there's no account for you to create. The account has been created. There's no need to contact lawyer you can go straight to the source and request NVC to send you your IIN since you have your case#. But you have about 3 years before you can start processing. Public Inquiry Form (state.gov)
  14. Why why didn't you include the daughters receipt#. Your wife is K3 and child would be K4. But if they don't know about her petition, no it won't do nothing for your daughters petition. Now it's a wait and see what happens.
  15. For Nigeria it's the same time. So no it's not faster for many embassies. USCIS processing is much longer. And after approval getting interview dates is quite daunting.
  16. RapidVisa isn't a very good indicator. Why? Because it's Philippines focus the majority of their applications is older men petitioning women thus the 80% filing rate for them.
  17. I hope you meant you submitted the DS-260 for each of you. DS-160 is for non-immigrant Visas. Yes it looks like you have aged out. Has NVC sent you a notice yet?
  18. Mumbai you are looking at about 12 months (from DQ) if you are IR/CR. It's longer if you are F2A. You said I-130 that doesn't tell us your visa category. You could be petitioning for sibling, adult child , parent. Please be more detail in your ask so we can answer you properly please.
  19. Each parent is $1225 that's $2450 you will pay. And use check or money order not credit card.
  20. Can't answer you if we don't know what embassy. You have no timeline completed so we can't help you.
  21. You shouldn't need a joint sponsor. Is it just you and your wife so household of two you are above the guidelines.
