US Immigration from United Kingdom

Hello everyone, I'm sure you're all bored to death of randos popping on to cry about K-1 Visa timelines but unfortunately I'm here to do that more or less.
My fiance lives in the UK and I am a (born?) US Citizen.

The short version is we applied for our Visa back in August of 2019 and our petition was accepted.
When I look at the "Immigrant Visa Application" it states that we were approved in February of this year and the last update was in April.
It also says we're ready for our interview when scheduled.

Whats weird is he never got any mail or emails and I only know this from checking the website with our LND number.

Anyways, obviously we can't schedule an interview and everyone is talking about interviews being scheduled out until August of next year (on Reddit mind you but...).
So to make a very long story short should I just move to the UK and take up citizenship there? Should we get married somewhere else and apply for a different Visa here?

Obviously we've sunk well over $2k into our Visa application (we have a lawyer who is worse than useless) but at this point we just want to be together.
Neither of us cares where we live or what we have to do while Visas pend and all this.

I appreciate anyone taking the time to read this mess, this is my first time posting here so feel free if you have any questions.

Been struggling to find a solid answer for this, despite using the fee calculator.

I am a spouse of a US citizen admitted on a K1 Visa. I am filing forms:

• I-130
• I-131
• I-485
• I-765
• I-684
• I-684A
• I-944

The fee calculator gave me $1,225:

$85 for biometrics

$1,140 for form I-485

$0 for form I-13

$0 for I765

It would not let me add form I-130 as an additional form in this calculation, which I understand is $535 per the instructions sheet for I-130.

Am I correct in these fees?

Am I missing any?

Do I send one cheque for $1,225 and another for $535 or do I send one single cheque for $1,760?

Would have thought they make it simple to know how much to send, but alas here I am typing out this post...

Hi all,

I applied to expedite my I-131 application September 18th due to my step mothers passing. Today, my request updated to say Approved. Can anyone tell me roughly how long it will be until I receive my travel card? My step mothers funeral is October 14th. I asked on the USCIS live chat & they told me 15-30 days, I am sure I've read on here before of people receiving the travel card within a week of being approved.

Also, when I receive my I-765 card, I assume it won't be a combo card as I've successfully expedited my I-131?

Hello all,

I am wondering if anyone can help me? My fianc has recently sent of the paperwork for the I-129 and included my sons details in the papers. We are a long way off the various stages, however querying if/when Visa's are granted if my son can travel around a month later without me when he will be 16. We don't want to consider a follow to join K2 visa, and are just planning for his exams and results collection next year which could impact his ability to travel at this time.

Any advice would be gratefully received.
