N400 interview postponed

Has this ever happened to someone? I know it is normal to postpone an interview but mine sounds a little bit weird for Me so I just want to find out if anyone had experienced the same situation.

My N400 is scheduled for 1pm today, so at 9am, I got a call from

someone saying he works for USCIS and that I have an interview at 1pm, I confirmed with him

and he later said that unfortunately My interview will be rescheduled due to the fact that My file has not yet arrived. I was wondering why it took them up to 4 hours before the initial interview in order to contact Me and also I was wondering why My status has not changed on USCIS and also if someone has had this happen to them, how long did it take to get your interview and will it be the same 4-5 weeks span before next interview or is it going to be a shorter wait time once new letter arrives? Thank you for your time.

Documents to bring to the Citezenship interview

Hi everyone,

I am getting ready for my Citezenship interview based on marriage. The NOA says:

If applying for NATURALIZATION AS THE SPOUSE of a United States Citizen;

Your marriage certificate.

Proof of death or divorce for each prior marriage of yourself or spouse.

Your spouse's birth or naturalization certificate or certificate of citizenship.

If copies of a document were submitted as evidence with your N400 application, the originals of those documents should be brought to the interview.

Question 1: what is certificate of citizenship? I've submitted the scan copy of my husband's passport together with N-400 online form. I asked him about his US birth certificate, he has it but he is a bit reluctant to give me an original. If I were him, I would be reluctant as well. Is there any way I can provide SCAN COPIES of both his Birth certificate, and passport at the interview?? I will bring along all originals of my documents and marriage certificate of course.

Question 2: do I need to print hundreds of pages of our tax returns, lease agreement etc.? Of course, I submitted all these documents together with my N-400 online application. Do I need to bring hard copies to the interview? Do officers ask for these papers? NOA does not mention these docs.

Question 3: should I upload any "unsolicited evidence" that I accumulated after submitting N-400? Mostly pictures with my husband and his family taken throughout 3 months after I had submitted the form. Has anyone submitted any evidence after submitting N-400?

Thank you!!

Hi, does anyone have very recent experience in traveling to Ukraine? Is there anything different than traveling there pre-war. I assume you fly to Poland and take a train to Kyiv. Is there a better way? Also, are there any special documents or .... needed to cross the border into Ukraine. thanks

Hello,

I was able to get my wife a tourist visa shortly after the war started in Ukraine ( she's Ukrainian) and when we entered the Port of Entry the officer said we had 6 months to figure out her paperwork to adjust her status. Well I spoke with a lawyer who will proofread all our documents but I haven't been able to pay yet and start the process so she can have work permission and travel authorization.

My question is, we have been taking trips flying within usa during this time and she uses passport as I.D. , can she still travel within USA on an expired Visa? Does Tsa look into that and call immigrations or can we still fly before we submit paperwork to adjust status??
