US Immigration from Philippines

My wife is currently in the US and her Philippines passport is expiring soon. We are desperately trying to get it renewed at the SF consulate. However, you need to do a renewal and there is no availability into the foreseeable future or several months.

Has anyone run into the same challenges and come up with any solutions? At this point my wife is considering flying back just to have her passport renewed, but this is not going to be an easy or affordable option.

Having left the Philippines over two years ago, I have not seen my little family in so long! After waiting for papers for adoption of am orphan, and having to track down her family line, having the orphanage burn down, (wife and daughter were both raised there until we took daughter out of the orphanage for school and family love!), fires in Manila damaging government buildings, volcano erupting, and then the freaking Cat 7 typhoon ruining things, and finally Covid, I am at an end to what to do! The adoption papers and passports were almost done, when the poop hit the fan!

At this point, am I going to have to go back to the Philippines to make like we just met, or get married, or meet her in another country? Any suggestions?

I have been keeping them both fed and clothed and daughter in a fast school, since orphanages don't school much.

Hi all, my spouse recently discovers that an information did not saved on DS-260 submission to NVC website. She notice on list countries visited within 5 years . Spouse notice 1 country did not saved or maybe forgot to list she visited 3 years ago for a 5 days. Is this something we can correct? Any experience or suggestion to correct this?

What are documents you sent when you applied for changing condional to permanent resident? Is it nescessary to send pictures? Did you block out the account numbers of your bank account?

Hi, I just have a question about the tax transcript that we will be submitting for my ROC, we are planning to submit my husband s 2019 tax transcript(married filing separately) plus a letter stating that the amended 2019 tax return is still in process (we amended it to married filing jointly). *note - 2019 tax return is the only available tax transcript that my husband has. Should we also submit copy of the 1040-X (amendment form for the tax) to show that it is being amended? OR should we just submit the tax transcript as is without stating that it is in the process of amendment?

(IRS is just backed up that it is taking so long for them to amend taxes.)

*I will be submitting the packet as soon as 1st week of feb and I don t think the newly amended tax will be available this soon.
