US Immigration from Philippines

USCIS transferred to Texas last time I chatted with Emma.

Still in the waiting game.

You would never know for sure but has anyone tried and felt it improved their processing time? I'm retired so we can live pretty much anywhere we want. Right now we're in Vancouver, WA and the Portland office seems to post some of the slower times. Our I-130 is in Nebraska and the I-485 is at the NBC in Missouri. I'm wondering if they aren't moving because Portland is so backed up? We're actually less than month from being able to submit a case inquiry on the 130. Next month we're moving to San Antonio which has faster times. I was considering leaving our address in WA to keep from rocking the boat and just flying back for biometrics or interview as required. But now I'm thinking changing our address could help.

One problem is that when I look at the I-485 online it says I can't change the address at this stage of the adjudication process. But elsewhere it says I need to file an AR-11 to change my addresses. I'm a bit confused as to whether I can or not.

Anyone knows when the US Embassy in Manila will be open for interviews? Salamat.

So Utah allows online marriages without regard to residency or Citizenship. The license can be obtained online, and the ceremony can be done by video.

If I decide to do this is there anyway to convert the K1 to a CR1?

Do I have to cancel the K1 before I file the I-130's?

Do I just inform the embassy of my intentions?

Any reason why we should not do this? Today is 1 year since our interview is cancelled and I do not see thing getting better in the future.
