US Immigration from Philippines

Hi!

Did anyone experience the same issue? Due to the pandemic, our K1(Fianc visa) CEAC status has been changed to refused even without us going through any interview. There was no notification or e-mail sent out and we have no information on why there was a refusal.

From USCIS -- "ALERT: The current edition date for Form I-864 is 03/10/21. Starting April 19, 2021, we will only accept the 03/10/21 edition. Until then, you can also use the 10/15/19 edition."

I recived an autoreply email this afternoon that if my CEAC status is expired i need to take a screenshot and email it to them.

My fianc called this morning and its not really a big thing but the Consul was surprised to our status, my fianc even asked when are they opened for normal routine schedule he said, "March 14/17" (the consul forgot when it started) and clarify that its the new update, he even asked when our petition approved and when will expire.

After that he told my fianc he will escalate our petition and i got an email escalating our scheduling request.

I don't know if i should be happy or not but its like an update atleast they picked up the call.

NVC notified me that they have sent my K1 visa petition on January 25, 2021 to US Embassy Bangkok. I sent an e-mail to the US Embassy Bangkok to follow up my case but they said the case is currently in transit. It has been almost 2 months since NVC sent my K1 visa petition. Is there any other way to follow up? or is there a possibility that the mail was lost?

My fianc e is in Mindanao and I am petitioning her and her two kiddos ages 5 and 7. If we are able to get past NVC sometime, are we going to have issues with the local LGU quarantines and restrictions as far as getting her and the kids to Manila for medical and interviews?

Only asking because I know people under 18 are supposed to be staying at home and they aren't allowed to go inside businesses/restaurants. Not entirely sure what airports are doing. Would they be required to have a swab test for domestic travel or be quarantined in a facility at any time?
