How soon after my fianc e and I get married can I petition to adopt her two kids? Also, she was never married and the father of the children has not been in their life for years. Furthermore, my fianc e has no idea where he is.

Will my I-130 application from California be voided If my Father apply another one from a different state. My Father is thinking of finding another job to a different state to fasten my petition. Because he applied me in California and the year they are processing is 2016-2018 If he is not mistaken which compared to Texas they are handling 2020 applications.

I just got a notice from USPS that we have a mail from the Dept of Homeland Security. It has another person's name and under it says c/o EOIR 42B and below it is my address.

Should I be worried my case was somehow mixed up with another person? Or that someone has used my address?

I googled EOIR 42B and it's a Dept of Justice form to cancel deportation.

My case I-751 (SRC) hasn't updated since November 18 and it's stuck in " Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction".

Anyone encountered the same thing?

I know it's a crime to open someone else's mail.

What should I do?

Hello everyone.! I just need some advice if which the easy way to file petition for my son who is going to turn 14yrs old this year. I am a us citizen and planning to start the paperwork to bring my son with here in the US but I m not really sure I d do I need to hire a lawyer or I can do by myself?
