US Immigration from Philippines

Hi- I got a response from NVC last May 27 that my expedite is under review. anyone here on the same timeline with me? for those who were approved for expedite recently, how long many days you received another email about the result?

I would like to ask. We got the approval of I-130. We havent send the other forms like I-485. Where can we send them? i was looking to USCIS website dont habeve the forms to submit there online. Thank you for all the response.

Hi guys! I am still in the process of obtaining a Hong Kong police certificate for NVC. One of the requirement from HK police is to get fingerprints here in the Philippines (as stated below). When I called NBI, they said I need an affidavit or request form from US embassy/consulate that I need to get my fingerprints taken. I am not sure how to obtain this affidavit, so I wanted to ask anyone here who went through the same process. How were you able to obtain fingerprints in the Philippines to send to HK? What documents did you provide to NBI? Thank you!

The ORIGINAL of a full set of the applicant s fingerprints taken and certified by the police / law enforcement agency / Consulate where the applicant presently resides.

A full set of fingerprints should include the impression of each of the applicant s fingers, the plain impression of the four fingers of the applicant s left and right hand taken simultaneously, and the plain impressions of thumbs. Certification of the fingerprints must clearly state:

i. The name and rank of the person taking the fingerprints;

ii. The full name and the OFFICIAL STAMP of the police / law enforcement agency / Consulate; and

iii. Where and when the fingerprints were taken.

Fingerprints submitted that do not clearly show the certification will not be accepted. ***Fingerprints taken by the applicants themselves, a legal representative or private / commercial agency will not be accepted.

Fingerprints taken on the fingerprint card provided by the local Police / law enforcement agency / Consulate is accepted.

Just want to ask, If you Guys find it so difficult to book an appointment to accept your application from the Acceptance Agencies, such as USPS and Public Libraries? I am living in Las Vegas and I am not expediting my new passport. USPS around my place shows that the available schedule to book an appointment is about a month from now. I am watching YouTube from previous US Passport applicants and it was so easy for them to book an appointment, in any day of the month. I called the Las Vegas Windmill Library this morning, because they told me a week ago that new appointment schedules for the month of June 2021 opens in the morning of the first day of the month(June 1, 2021), the Lady who answered the phone told me that the appointment slots for the whole month of June was filled out 4 minutes after they released the schedule in their website. Though I already booked an appointment for June 26, I am just curious if this is happening in other Cities or States of the country.

nvc has stopped my spouses process by requesting my tax transcript knowing that the IRS announced that they will be holding 29 million tax returns and intend on processing them manually and so i submitted a copy of my tax return that i filed with the IRS. and so far NVC still hasnt viewed or accepted my submitted document. one week after they stopped the process they email me saying that they will review my document "VERY SOON". so how long is very soon because its been 3 weeks since that email. is there a time frame on how long they are allowed to hold/delay a persons petition? ive also read that NVC can accept other tax forms if the tax transcript isnt available and in that case why did they stop the process because my tax return was already submitted but they still requested my tax transcript. whats in the tax transcript that they need that they cant get out of a persons tax return? i want to file a complaint against NVC for this delay and a complaint against the employee having that employee fired. im a US citizen making my spouses visa IR1 (PRIORITY) and that my spouses process shouldnt be stopping ( well not for 1 month) delaying the process of the already delays. wow. can NVC get any worse than it already is? who ever is in charge of this agency may need to step down because this person isnt making sure of any more delays for a persons petition isnt stacking up
