Questions about VAC, Medical & Interview requirements |

Hey all, just hoping for some clarification on document requirements for all the immigration appointments my wife will attend. For all 3 appointments (Biometrics, Medical & Interview) it lists either an Interview Appointment Notification or Interview Appointment Letter as a document requirement. The US Embassy Manila never notified us of an interview date, we had to self schedule my wife's IR-1 interview once her case status changed to "ready." The only notification I ever received was the NVC telling me that the Manila Embassy had "expedited" our case and everyone in the immigration community told us that meant we had to schedule ourselves. The Embassy never contacted us after that. My questions are: 1). What would we use for that document requirement then? 2). I'm assuming Interview Appointment Notification/Letter is the same thing? Screenshot of the VAC requirements attached. 3). There is also a requirement of the completed DS-260 on the VAC checklist. Does this mean that in addition to the DS-260 Confirmation we need the entire printout of the filled out form? Thank you!

I petitioned my 2 unmarried children above 21 yo in April 2018 at the same time and I am a US Citizen. One case has an update in May 2024 that it was moved to ELIS while the other one has not been moved yet as of this writing. Will there be any difference in processing their petitions? How long would you estimate before their visas will be available? They're in the Philippines. Thanks and God bless.

Hi all, My wife's IR-1 visa interview is scheduled for Feb 12 and so I'm wondering since I won't even get my W-2s until Jan 30th, will I need to send my 2024 federal filed tax return for the Interview/Include with updated Affidavit of Support? Thanks so much!

I-134 or I-864? I see both mentioned seeming interchangeably.

Hi, So far no one has mentioned the physical for a CR1 spousal Visa, How and where near Manila can we go for her physical? Our Journey so far, I filed May 27th, 2023, I got approved Sept 2024, before I was approved they asked for more proof of our marriage. Apparently they didn't see where her marriage was annulled, they were looking for a separate document, in the Philippines they annotate on the boarder of the marriage license the annulment information, I drew a thick black boarder around it with arrows pointing to it, sent the package back in digitally, with in 3 days I was approved and my case was closed and moved to the NVC (National Visa Center) Once at the NVC, things started rolling along fast, after all of our documents were approved it slowed down again. If you don't hear back from the NVC with in a reasonable time, go to this website, https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas/nonimmigrant-visa-inquiry-form/, fill out the form and ask your question, they always got back to me with in 7 working days. There is a process you must go through to get to the area where you can make your biometric and final appointments. The biometric is to prepare you for the final interview, they take your finger prints check you documents and so forth, this is not at the embassy, they will provide the address when you get to that point. Her biometric appoint is in Feb, final appointment is mid March, hopefully she will be here in the US by end of March. Thank you, and good luck on your visa journey Dan & Juliana Nora Eaton
