Hello everyone good day to all..I am in need of your opinion on my case. My USC daughter filed for a petition for me and got approved in 2019. But I didn't attend to the original and rescheduled interviews because I was out of the country and got stuck somewhere when the pandemic came. A year after that, when I wanted to check the status of my petition, it was already terminated and asking me for an "explanation" in case I want to contest the decision . In Oct 2021, I wrote to the US Embassy telling in my letter that I am no longer interested to migrate in the US and that I am giving up my petition for good. Now, I am planning to apply for a tourist visa mainly bec I want to visit my daughter who just gave birth. My question is, does my previous petition has an advantage knowing that I declined my chance to migrate? Or does my current situation is the deciding factor?
I am in my late 40's, ex husband is a LPR, daughter is USC, son has existing F2b petition waiting for interview.
I am unemployed right now bec I travel out of the country most of the time.
I have an ample monthly remittance and reasonable money in the bank.
I have a rich travel history as a proof I am a legit tourist.
I have no properties under my name as a tie in my country.
My only tie is my aging mother and family they are the reasons why I keep coming back home every 3 mos or so.
I live with my fiance abroad, he is the main reason why I gave up my US petition.
Other than that, my socio economic ties is weak.
I would really appreciate your opinions on my case. Thank you so much!
