Hi, So I am the petitioner of the K1 Visa, Fianc is in the Philippines. NVC sent me and email saying: The National Visa Center (NVC) received your fianc (e) s/spouse s approved I-129F petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in Manila, Philippines. Please note that the transfer process can take several weeks. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fianc (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her petition. Next steps: Go to our website http://nvc.state.gov/k1 to learn how to apply for a K visa and prepare for the visa interview. I checked, CEAC said status ready. May 20,2022. As of today, My Fianc has not receive any welcome letter so far from the NVC. So here is my question: Should I tell him to just follow what the link says, and just file the DS160, pay the visa interview fees, w the interview and grab all the necessary requirements; Or should we just wait until my fianc receives a mail from NVC or US embassy? How long should we wait until we actually file the DS 160 because I do not want my i-129F petition to expire. Thank you for those who took time to read and answer. God bless everyone.

Hello everyone, I have two questions I d like some help with. This is regarding an IR-2 visa, interview is at us embassy Manila June 22. 1) I noticed a misspelling in my beneficiary name in the given name section of the DS-260, every where else it is spelled correctly but when you print the confirmation it is incorrect, I ve spoken with the NVC but all they tell me is to contact the embassy. What can I do? Or will it even matter? Attached is a photo. 2) for my wife s interview back in 2016 I guess, I was allowed to accompany her throughout the entire process, is this still the case? Or has anything changed? thanks in advance.

As of today 5/23/22, my mom is medically cleared, sputum culture resulted negative and received her immunizations. Now, I can schedule her for interview. I called this number 1-703-520-2235 for international callers. I was on hold for too long and my call was dropped twice already. Any experiences that you would like to share? I've seen some were having a hard time also to schedule their interview. I just hope they need to consider that medical has expiration. It would be unfair if we cannot have interview date until the medical expired.

Hi everyone, Does anybody know the process on how to change embassy after getting NOA2? We just got our NOA2 last May 20, 2022. Our original embassy was set to Manila, Philippines. We are planning on transferring our case to Sydney since my fianc e is currently in Australia on a student visa. How do we go about this? I believe we have to contact NVC regarding this matter. Do we call, email, or mail them? What information do they need? Do they require any proof that my fianc e is currently staying in Australia legally? Thank you.
