Hi everyone I filed an i130 on 04/21/2022 for my wife in the Philippines. I am the petitioner and am a USC. We are still awaiting approval for the i130 and my wife wants to change her name on her Philippine passport to my last name since the process is easier while she s still there in the Philippines as opposed to doing it here in the States. I filed the i130 with her current last name (her father s last name). Her current last name is on the marriage certificate and her birth certificate. What steps do I need to take to make sure there s no confusion with her name moving forward in the immigration process? We will file for a CR1 visa upon approval of the i130. PLEASE Help!!

It is my understanding that my foreign-born wife is eligible for a widow s benefit from social security after I die if we obtain permanent residency (i.e. green card) for her? I m currently a SS recipient. Is this correct? And Part B, if that is correct, does she need to obtain US citizenship also?

Hello, being self employed, trying to figure out what to put in this line is really confusing. Running my own business, I gross well into 6 figures every year, but after expenses, I'm right around $100K, but after all my depreciation, I about poverty level. I know I can use assets which go into 7 figures so I am not worried about needing a sponsor. I'm just not sure what figure goes in number 7 of part 6 of the I-864 Thanks for any help........

Hello, I had a question. My wife and I were married in the United States. She applied for an IR2 visa for her two minor children in the Philippines. We have not received an IL yet, however, the plan is for me to travel to the Philippines and back with them to the United States after they receive the visas. My wife cannot travel because she must attend to our newborn. What kind of paperwork or clearance would they need to travel with me since I am not the biological father?

Hello, my mother in law will be traveling to USA soon. She will be departing from the airport in manila. Are there any documents she will need other than her passport, visa, covid vaccination card/certificate, and negative covid test? Also is there a location inside or immediatly near the Airport where she can get a rapid test that meets the airports regulations? Thank you.
