US Immigration from Kenya

Seems IO's notation was ignored as my oath is scheduled for Aug 14th. I was to fly tomorrow, July 27th but last week Tuesday, Air France decided to cancel my second leg and offer rebooking, credit or full refund. From Tuesday when I got the notice of second leg cancelation to Friday, I was calling them to find a fix. They were giving me headache - long wait time, call hanging up etc. Come Friday AM, I get a notice for oath. I was gonna postpone oath but while I am on call with airline, they do not offer me credible alternatives. So out of exhaustion and anger, I canceled the flight & sought full refund. However, before canceling, I quickly checked Google Flights and found another cheap flight on different airline which happen to be leaving a day after my oath. I then went ahead & looked at my country's ACS appointment availability and was surprised to find one which falls within my "would be new vacation dates." The agent from AF had left me on hold. As soon as she came back and now armed with this new finding, I canceled AF and asked for my full refund. By the time I was asking for this refund, I had booked the other airline as well as appointment at my local ACS.

As the old adage goes, all's well that ends well.

P:S I chose the ACS option because:

1. Online appointment scheduling here in the US has been shut down as of 7/22/21 due to bot infiltration who grab all spots and sell for profit. Therefore, as of today, you have to call in to get an appointment. Getting someone is taking 1+ hours on the phone.
2. My local ACS could be booked online and was within my new vacation dates. So why not?

Hi, what documents does one need to take to an interview for 5 year old and 7 year old for an interview? Immigrant visa. Am particularly asking for affidavit of support. What does one take

About a week and a half ago, we went to our k1 visa interview after having gone through the process for over a year and a half. At the interview, they gave us approval and even gave us a letter stating our approval and what the next steps would be. I left my passport with the consulate because they needed to do further processing, and they said to expect it back in about a week. Today we checked the case status online and it said: "refused". In the subtext, it said that our case would remain refused while undergoing administrative processing.

Does this mean that our visa has been refused, or is this more of a placeholder while they process our visa? Is this a common thing to happen with people who have had their k1 visas approved?

I spent 2 weeks, every night at 12am and 5 am trying to get a PP appointment for Houston as I fly out 27th. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to. Why? People have bots that scoop up all appointment immediately they open, regardless of location. They would then go online and sell them to desperate citizens for $400 - 1000, depending on your urgency and how close your trip is. I was livid. Well, seems government caught up and as of 7/22, you can only get appointment by calling. Good.

Some sellers got money for fake appointments. Others got money and never delivered. Others sold the same appointment numerous times.

Hi,

My daughters got their medicals done on 07/07/2021 but the have not got an interview appointment date. Their case is an expedited one. It was expedited in May.

Does anyone have an idea how long it will take to have an appointment? Every time I write them, they tell me to wait. Who can kindly give me an estimate as to when I can expect for an interview.
