US Immigration from Indonesia

Hi Guys,

i am living in indonesia.

I was wondering if i want to stay out of my country let say i am working in another country in the meantime of waiting the process of k1.

is it allowed? if not, is the any clause that it is prohibited to leave original country?

Who is waiting for an interview at Jakarta? I am losing hope, because I got DQ'ed on Jun 28th but my case is still at the NVC. I have contacted the embassy and they said they did not receive my file yet.

I've seen lots of timelines of Jakarta embassy people in 2022 that got their interview letter really fast after being DQ'ed. Anyone else waiting as long as I do?

Me and my fiance would like to apply this k1 visa, however i have some case and need your advice before fill up the I-129F.

my case:

I was applied a tourist visa with my mom 2 months ago however our visa was declined. In DS160 and interview i ever mentioned that i didnt have any kind of relatives in united states because i saw some youtube that we cannot tell that to meet boyfriend overthere. despite of it, i didnt work again but my previous company willing to help to give a sponsor letter that proof i still work in that company. so in DS160 form i wrote that i still working even though my tourist visa was declined.

my question:

1. Is k1 visa related to the tourist visa that i was apply before?

2. should i mentioned the truth about my previous work? if so, it will be diffrent from the ds160 for tourist visa i was apply. this is also related to my question no.01

I became documentarily qualified on June 28, and I am still waiting for an interview date from the NVC for Jakarta, Indonesia. I know the Jakarta embassy is not very busy, they do between 9-14 family immigrant visas per month and prioritize those.

Does anyone have any experience with how long it takes to schedule the interview? The timeframe from the NVC is between 30-60 days... is it still within that time line or does it take longer due to backlogs?

My husband and 2 kids are already in the US, and we have been separated since January 2022, I really want this process to end soon!

I know, I know.. I just got my GC this February 2022 and started to work on April 2022. But this is just who I am. Preparing everything loooong time before things happened.

I have couple of questions regarding ROC (I-751) :

1. As I stated above, my GC was issued on Feb 2022 (02/03/2022), what date should I deliver my (I-751) package so USCIS will receive it on time, won't be too early nor too late ?

2. I never get a combo card. Only GC (Even though I filed it together with my AOS). Do I have to quit my job at some point ?? because I think I won't be able to have my 10 years GC on hand on time. Before my 2 years expired (based on people's ROC timelines)

3. Do I have to apply for I-765 ? Again because I never get that. Straight to GC only.

4. Or is there such a thing like extension letter issued by USCIS so I will be able to show it to my employer to keep by job ? if so, will my employer accept it since it not the actual GC.

So far, that's all of the questions I could think about. I will bother you guys again if I have more questions.
