With my fianc 's interview now behind us, we are waiting for medical exam results to be sent to the embassy and a decision to be made, we are starting to think about how to move to the US. We will donate furniture and appliances to her family, but we still have a lot of things that we need to move that simply can't be replaced and I think will be too much even with excess baggage costs for the airline. Any ideas? The other idea is on a cargo ship from Cartagena, but we aren't sure if this is feasible.

To follow these instructions "Supporting evidence must be attached to establish location, ownership, date of acquisition, and value", I would like to know which paper/document I should obtain exactly and how, in the case I am an expat in the country of Colombia who is sponsoring his Colombian spouse for immigration and not having income, but being owner of 2 homes... ? Thanks.

My husband had the interview yesterday and needs an I212 waiver for the following reasons 6C1, 9C1. I have two situations which will be more extreme pain to present 1) I am in charge of my parents over 80 who have been diagnosed with dementia and 2) I have had a knee problem for a year and if the therapy did not improve, I will need surgery. For none of these reasons I can live with my husband in his country and I need his help in USA. What do you advise me?

It took USCIS 26 days to send this response denying an infopass. Emergency appointments only with proof. Call back and wait almost a month? Forget it. I got faster service filing a writ of mandamus in federal court. I am embarrassed that I worked for INS years ago. "Thank you for your inquiry dated June 24, 2021. Requesting an Appointment. After a review of your inquiry, we regret to inform you that your Field Office of jurisdiction does not have any appointments available at this time. Unfortunately, the Field Office is unable to open additional appointments for non-emergency situations. Please call back at a later date to see if there are any appointment slots available. If your situation becomes emergent and you are still in need of an Infopass appointment, please contact the USCIS Contact Center and let the representative know about the emergency situation. Please be advised, you will be required to provide proof of your emergency to substantiate your claim."
