We finally got our green card after being approved in April while we were in Colombia traveling by Adit stamp. We entered the USA at the end of April and had been "helped" by an Immigration officer with the Global entry machine. When he heard that we had an adit stamp, he became excited and shouted to the other officers, "Adid stamp" multiple times and followed us to the officer in the glass booth and then to secondary inspection where we wasted 20 minutes being questioned for no reason other than having an adit stamp. (why did we have an adit stamp? Because the USCIS could not schedule an interview in 1.5 years) So we went to Colombia for a mini-vacation with the new green card. We returned early in the morning yesterday to Miami Global entry area as we had at the end of April, and as I pulled the Global Entry receipt out the machine and placed it on top of the machine, a hand out of nowhere appeared and grabbed it, looked at it and returned it to the top of the machine and left. It was Officer "Adit" who had "helped" us in April. This time I threw caution to the wind and I told him that we saw you in April. Officer "Adit" seemed a little quizzical but moved away. Then we had to pass by him again and give him the receipts. Again, with only three hours sleep, I couldn't help myself and commented, "you helped us in April" and we were the ones with the adit stamp." I continued, "she received her new Green Card." Again he looked startled, accepted the receipts and waived us through quickly as it sunk in that he had sent us to waste our time in secondary inspection. And after all the trouble we went to to get the physical green card (congressionals, info pass apt. and lawsuit) , we never showed it once on United States soil. Only at the airport in Colombia. Only in America would you have a federal agency that delayed your I-751 approval a year and a half because they did not have the resources for a 20 minute interview but had no problem finding time for an interview at 6 a.m. to harass incoming folks who had to get adit stamps because of the agency's incompetence.

Does someone knows if we start an I130 online now if it will be process by the same office that processed my K1 Visa back in 2016, or it may go to a different office as the California office is super delayed? Who know something about the assignment of offices lately for online?

I sent the application for the I130 for my children that are never married, both older than 21. We are from Colombia, just to clarify as the timelines are different for every country, but there is not much information about Colombia timelines. I was to apply for the citizenship when my children decided to start the process to come to the states, With the timelines being that confusing, long and discouraging, can I apply for my citizenship while we are on this process, how that would affect them negatively or positively? What can I do, other than wait for those 7,15 or whatever years to help us with this process? Please help

Hello everyone Someone kind enough to tell me if it is better than my fianc to get the IRS transcripts online or if it is better by email. These are to take to the interview for the K1 visa.
