HI hi Guys hope everything ok for you all , i would like to share my story in my son's interview

we have the interview in November 2 everything was ok until the found I was confused with original copy of

my Marriage certificate they requested a original and give to us a letter to sent this document with the passport

and is past a mouth and we do not have no any communication from them is some one can help me and give me

how long this can be and what i need to do if they don't communicate with me .

My husband and I got married in April 2020 and we sent in our adjustment of status in May 2020. I had my fingerprint appointment back in February 2021 and received my travel and work permit in April 2021. I want to know how I can expedite the renewal process of the AP with anticipation. I read that I can do it up to 120 days before the expiration date, however, I do not know what the procedure would be to reapply, and if the fee would have to be paid again. If anyone has any knowledge about this specific topic or experience, I would be very grateful if you shared it with me, as I am still waiting for my interview which seems to not come any time soon!

Anyone know of average time from I-751 biometrics to interview / approval? Durham, NC was biometrics. It is a strong application. Not likely to be challenges or questions.

My wife's interview has been set up for December 14th. On the Notice is a list of items to bring. One of the items is her passport. Her Passport is a Colombian passport and we've just recognized that it is expired. Does that matter? Do we need to jump through hoops to try to get her Colombian passport renewed within the next 34 days or can we just take the expired one? My thought process is that if we can take the expired one, I assume after getting her Citizenship she can get a US passport and we can use that to travel the next time we go to Colombia (nothing planned) and then renew her Colombian passport the next time we're in Colombia. Thoughts? Not sure why they want us to bring passport? Perhaps to confirm all trips outside the US?

This process is painfully slow its been two years now since my wife had Biometrics taken and now website finally says ready for interview. Wow crazy slow process.

Who knows how long it will take to get an interview date and then the green card........
