US Immigration from China

I know that recently the Dept of State has said that as embassies open up around the world, they are authorized to make K-1 a priority. With one notable exception being that travel ban countries will not resume. My fianc e is from China and is currently there awaiting the time she can get her K-1. We are still waiting on our NOA2 after we received our NOA1 on April 30, 2020. It seems that the travel ban will continue for a long, long time and that K-1's won't resume until late 2021/early 2022. With that in mind, they will also have to process everyone that was in line during the travel ban, further increasing the waiting time.

So, my question is would it be a better choice to find a third country, like Mexico, and get married? Then apply for the CR-1 since they are exempt from the travel ban and are currently interviewing in travel ban countries. It seems like the K-1 is practically dead, especially in countries with travel bans. Perhaps my logic is wrong but I was hoping to get some other perspectives on this.

My wife and I have had our I-130 approved (in March), but given the way this year has gone (and how the immediate future looks), we're no longer sure that the US is the right place for us. How long can I "sit" on our I-130 approval before it gets voided?

I haven't done anything since receiving the approval other than log into my wife's National Visa Center account -- haven't paid the next fee, nothing.

My parents-in-law applied for their B2 visa extension in early Feb, we just received approval notice this weekend, but the new expiration date is 8/29 - already expired by more than a month. Their original visa was valid until 2/29, so they granted a 6-month extension, but the process took 8 months! The notice is dated 9/29. We waited for some long and now this. What are our options? I plan to call USCIS tomorrow, but I am not sure if they will change the decision. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Hi! I'm in China and tried to sign up multiple times on multiple devices and had the same issues, it always told me something like "the answer to the security question is wrong", the questions were like "what's the color of the sky" or "whats one plus five", so I'm pretty sure I wasn't wrong. After asking several other people in China, I noticed it was a common problem. So I had my fiance sign up in the US for me.

Now I know Chinese internet does funny things, but usually blocked sites are just blocked, this is different, I've never had a problem that's this specific. I could browse this site with no issue before having an account. Thought I should point this out, and maybe tech people here can take a look. Thanks!
