US Immigration from China

We received approval of our documentation on March 14 from the NVC. How long might it be before we get notice of the interview in Guangzhou, China? And when you get the notice of the interview, how long is it typically before the actual appointment. I would assume at least a month. It is my understanding that they arbitrarily assign an appointment time to you. Is that true?

While filing I-864 to NVC, I realized there are actually 4 types of Tax Transcript availiable in IRS.gov.

Should I use the first option " Return Transcript" ?

Also, since we all just filed the tax for 2022, seems that 2022 is still "missing" .... is it OK with NVC?

Question: I've lived in USA for 5 years and went back to my country due to Covid....Except police record from China, do I also need a US police record for interview??? It's confusing because I'm applying a US visa, so they should have checked my background for this.......my understanding of police record is from a third country, not from the country you are going to live in. Any advice?

I am living in China and was assigned an IR1 interview on Feb 22 at the Guangzhou consulate but my wife was unable to make the interview. We have been trying for the past 6 weeks to reschedule our interview through USTravelDocs but it had been saying "There are currently no appointments available." I have read that this is normal but I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this and how long did it take you to get the next interview? Does anyone know if there a certain time that the interview schedule is updated so there is a certain time of day that I should be trying to schedule an interview? Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Hello. the I-485/I-131 were rejected due to fee amounts with no indication if we submitted too little or too much. I submitted together in the same package. I'm also not sure if I need to submit two separate checks. From the USCIS website I see $1,225 for the I-485 and $660 for the I-131. Is that incorrect? Or is there no charge for the I-131 because I am submitting together?
