Embassy Review : I want to share my US visa interview experience since this website helped me a lot, especially with timelines.
I arrived around 7am, almost one hour before my appointment, and the entry line was already outside with both non-immigrant and immigrant applicants together. Around 7:30am, people started going in and immigrant visa applicants were directed to separate line.
After the security check, we went upstairs, got a number, and went to the first window where they checked all the documents. Here is important to provide all the originals and recent photo.
Then we waited in the next area for the interview using the same number.
The officer was very polite, and the questions were general, like where we met with my husband, what he does for work etc. I left the Consulate around 10am.
I received my passport and original documents back the following week.
There was no tracking number, but you can check the delivery through the EMS WeChat app using the phone number you registered with.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
