US Immigration from Canada

Hello all! Just curious since awhile ago I asked for a friend about applying for green card as Canadian. Im so sure the only way is through K1 or CR1. She was ballsy and went a different way.

She came into USA and will marry later and apply something, I assume adjustment of status. I'm thinking does it really work??? Canadian come into the USA a visitor visa because of the agreementfrom the 2 countries. Why can't we then just apply for AOS and wait inside USA? Was I dumb and did the long road by doing the K1 and wait longer...? If it is visa fraud, will she get caught for sure? Or it happens they get slip through the cracks? I read through the uscis website, and it seems that it can work... this is frustrating. Thank you!

Currently filling out the DS 160 and I'm unsure what they are asking for when they say "evidence of petitioner's domicile in the United States."

Every time I have my adblock running I cannot use the multi quote option. As soon as I turn on the adblock the multi quote down on the bottom right pops right back up.

Also my cursor disappears every single time on VJ and only on VJ. I have to randomly click around and hope it will pop back up on my chat box so I can use my arrow keys to move around my flashing (|) so I know where I am. THis has been going on for months and at first I thought is was just my computer, if it was then it would be the same thing everywhere I go.

I am hoping someone has experience or knowledge related to my situation.

I filed an I-130 through DCF recently based on a job offer. However before the job offer, my spouse had applied for citizenship in our current country of residence. It is likely that her citizenship will be approved before we fill out the DS-260. Additionally, she will lose her current citizenship when she receives the new citizenship based on the laws of her home country.

Any thoughts on whether this will be a problem?

Still in the NVC stage though, but we need to plan ahead. Did anyone get their IV interview letters from Montereal after NVC qualified recently? And how far are they scheduling out? Weeks? Months? My wife is on an open work permit in Canada which is due to expire by the end of 2024. So we wanna know this information beforehand to avoid the need for her to apply for a Canadian PR. Thanks!
