Hi everyone, I noticed my approval for my I-29f petition will be exipiring in March 2021. I have not yet heard from the NVC regarding the next steps (Though I do have my case number and invoice number as I called them). I have submitted an inquiry on the Ask NVC form online inquiring about how to renew my petition but have not heard back. Does anyone else know how I ca get the petition approval extended? I would hate for it to expire but am unable to move forward as the Montreal Embassy is not taking any more cases at this time.

We received our NOA1 for my husband's AOS application on Nov. 6, 2020. We haven't heard anything since then. I know they're super behind (and that they work slowly, even before COVID), but I don' t know if I should worry. Does anyone know when we should hear back about the next steps? And what the next steps are? My understanding is that there's an NOA2 at some point related to the boimetrics appt... I'm a little confused about what's next and how long that part takes. Any insight is appreciated!

hello all! I have moved to another part of the forum now. I came on a K1 in January and I ve been prepping my AOS. I tried to search for this answer but no luck. There s a list for AOS on a facebook group I m on and I just want to make sure I don t need to include any divorce certificates (I was previously married and included this for the k1 application) but it doesn t make sense for me to include it with the AOS and if I have to include that s totally fine but I just wanted to ask on this forum as you all have never steered me wrong. thanks! -A

Hi all, just wanted to make sure that I'm doing this math correctly. Since the filing fees for the I-765 and I-131 are no longer waived when filing the I-485, I have the total cost at $2210. Is this right? Thanks!

Apologies if there is a better forum for this to have gone under - I did a check but couldn't see anything that applied and didn't see any questions about it asked before. My fiance's income is$38k annually. I know that that is well above the required amount for a K1 visa, but for the AOS income RapidVisa's calculator indicates 43k a year is the "safe zone". In anyone's opinion, it likely that we will need a co-sponsor when it comes tome to file for my AOS? If it is I'll have to start broaching that subject with him now, as I know he is very hesitant to want to ask anyone for help with this. Thanks! Whoops - edited to add that it is just him in the household (he is living at home but provides for himself, so it would just be 1 plus me as he doesn't need to factor his family into it as he is not financially responsible for them even though he lives there?)
