I-864 - US Citizen/Resident Joint Sponsor needs Proof of U.S. Domicile?

I'm in the process of submitting a family-based visa application. When I added a joint sponsor to the CEAC portal, under the required documents for him it says:

  • Federal Income Tax Return or Transcript
  • Proof of U.S. Domicile
  • Form I-864 Affidavit of Support
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or LPR Status

My joint sponsor is a US citizen and resides in the US. Does he still need to submit any proof of domicile? If so, what would be a good, easy example? A driver's license? He's also submitting his last three years of tax transcripts and W2s, as well as a certificate of naturalization to prove his citizenship.

If I don't need to submit any specific proof of domicile, should I just leave it as missing with no document available, or should I select Not Available and provide an explanation?

Thanks for any help!

So my fiance's income isn't gonna cut it for the income requirements. His dad has agreed to bo a joint sponsor. He's married and they file joint taxes.

1 - Do we list his wife as a dependant on his I-134?

2 - I was told I can only put his income in the 'income' field. Is this correct? If so, it would just be his social security checks.

3 - His wifes name is also listed on their bank accounts, and house deed. Does this affect anything?

Has anyone expedited visitor visa for USA during covid times. I am K1 visa beneficiary and my brother and sister-in-law had applied for B2 visa for US last year 2020. Every since then their interview keeps on getting canceled each time its due. Now the only available interview dates are in 2022 only. With things moving for K1 visa I am hoping to get approved around summer this year(NOA2 Oct 2020) and want my family to come to US for the marriage whenever it happens. Has anyone expedited visitor visa for family members in similar situation and if you can share experience and how long it takes.

Royal Canadian Air Cadets (Paramilitary technically?)

On the N-400 form, they ask the following question:

"15. Were you EVER a member of, or did you EVER serve in, help, or participate in any of the following groups:

B. Paramilitary unit (a group of people who act like a military group but are not a part of the official military)?"

I was an Air Cadet (not military, but they do drill and survival stuff for kids under the age of 18,) in my teens for a short period of time. To me it probably doesn't meet the qualification because you would never be called on for war, but it's the part in the question that reads, "act like a military group" and they are very much structured like a military group with ranks and drill and they are technically associated with the Canadian Armed Forces. Should I just say yes and explain, or should I leave this for question 9a?

"9 A. Have you EVER been a member of, involved in, or in any way associated with, any organization, associate, fund, foundation, party, club, society, or similar group in the United States or in any other locations in the world?"

Or just put it in BOTH to be safe? Sounds so stupid. It's like a strict version of the boy scouts. lol.
