Hey Visa Journey!

I will be having my N-400 interview soon. My question is, my wife was born in the U.S. but doesn't have a copy of her birth certificate. If we can't get a copy of it before my interview could we use a copy of the bio graphic page of her passport to show proof of her being a U.S. citizen by birth? Much Thanks!

i have found threads about this from 2014, until mid 2020. But nothing more recent than that.

We only just submitted our all our documents yesterday (we had to delay 2 months due to police certificate from one country), and we were hoping to gauge the duration of wait to before being documentarily qualified (assuming all the documents are approved wiithout any comments).

Could people who completed there submission in 2021, please share their experience.

Going through the POE in July and want to get my ducks in a row.

I will be continuing to work in Canada and live just over the border.

I have a few questions for both a lawyer and an accountant, not totally sure I need either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As the tittle states

My fianc and i have now been waiting just about 10 months now for our NOA2. The processing times for California (were ours was submitted) states 5-7.5 months.

Just wondering if others are experiencing the same delays? i see others with dates much later than ours (NOA1 received June 17, 2020) and they have already received their NOA2's.

We also sent in a "Case inquiry" with the basic response stating they basically have no information to give us sadly.

I had my interview on March 17, 2021. I was refused due to not having my criminal background check in time for the interview. I was told my case is likely to be approved once they got the fingerprints. They ve now had the fingerprints for close to 2 weeks and I m still stuck on refused. They have obviously opened my case because the date has been updated. I am separated from my husband and am very sad and anxious to see him again! Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
