My fiance and I have decided after him staying here for 3 months that we are going to have him stay and file for AOS instead of pursuing the K1 route. He has a car he owns free and clear in Canada. I know of the paperwork required to have someone bring the vehicle across the border but what are all of our options for doing so and will any of them cause issues. Option 1: I fly to Canada and drive the car back provided the border opens. Option 2: His friend drives his car down when he comes for the wedding. Option 3: Hire a company to ship the car. What is the best option that won't cause any hiccups or red flags? Thanks in advance.

My birth certificate is from India. Its both in English and native language (Gujarati), moreover its even laminated. Did anyone submit similar BC from India for purpose of K1 visa and can you confirm how did it go for them. I have my interview at Montreal next month and want to make sure it will be accepted. From what I read for U.S. Visa: Reciprocity and Civil Documents by Country > India, it seems to be the right document issued by Municipality of the state but would like to get some thoughts/experience from members here. Thank you!

My fiance and I applied for our K1 and received our NOA1 a few weeks ago. He has currently been in the US with me since April 4th. He is supposed to fly out on Sunday but after doing more research and realizing the Montreal embassy is over a year out for an interview plus the wait for the NOA2, we are seriously considering getting married and not having him leave the country. Aside from the difficulties in canceling his lease and whatnot in Canada, what potential repercussions could occur if he opts to stay. His I94 and travelers visa expire Oct 1st. What would you recommend? Thank you.

Hello, I'm applying for a proof of Canadian citizenship for my minor son born in US (CIT 0001 form) and have a question. The instruction says that all questions are about the minor and to answer them as though I'm a minor. I'm a bit confused about the options on the first page - before the application itself starts: should I choose "I want to pass my Canadian citizenship to my child born outside of Canada" OR "I never had a citizenship certificate and was born outside of Canada to a Canadian parent"? If I answer as if I'm a minor (on behalf of whom I'm applying) second option looks right but as a parent I should choose the first. Please share your thoughts. Thanks in advance! Thanks in advance! Vicky
